Fred Freckmann passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at age 80, now enjoying his new body and new mind. Fred had grown up in Chicago after which he attended the United States Naval Academy in 1959. He retired from the Navy in 1982 after serving 25 years flying aircrafts. He was decorated with the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medals and Gold Stars for his performance in the Vietnam War.
Fred then pursued his search for Wisdom and Philosophy. He earned his Master’s Degree and taught at the University of West Florida for many years. He wants you to “Let go and let God flow” and to “Imagine every cell in your body is a happy face – breathe and relax”. Is that why he had the most charming, genuine smile?
Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Friederick and Irma, lovely “Tootie” Donna; sister, Elsie and daughter, Kim.
He is survived by his daughters, Christina and Michelle; sons, John and Christopher and sister, Bertha.
A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 1:30pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida.
