![]() Anthony James Antle, 60, of Crestview, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. "God saw Anthony getting tired and a cure was not meant to be. He put his arms around him and whispered "Come home to me". With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best." Anthony is survived by his loving fiancé Kathy Hetrick of Crestview, FL.; his mother Faye Chastain of Ocoee, FL.; his older sister Janet Antle of Ocoee, FL.; his two children, Anthony Antle and Shelby Buettner both of Granite City, IL.; and three grandchildren that he cherished so dearly, Gracey Buettner of Dunnellon, FL., and Mitchell and Cameron of Granite City, IL. Anthony was a truly remarkable man who is no longer suffering at the hands of cancer. Anthony has touched the lives of so many people and his death is truly a significant loss to many. ![]() Edgar Newton Doubleday II, "Ed", 91, of Navarre, Florida passed away at home with his loving family on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Ed was a kind, compassionate, and caring man who dedicated his life to his family, friends, and YMCA members. Ed proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After graduating from Springfield College, Ed began a lifetime career with the YMCA as an Executive in Schenectady NY, Niagara Falls NY, Wilton CT, and Glens Falls NY, retiring to Navarre, FL. Ed enjoyed his family, fishing, and golfing, but his favorite pastime was telling his great stories of the "old" days. Ed was born on May 4, 1930, in Westport CT. He was married to the love of his life, the late Katherine (nee Berg), for 37 years. Ed was a devoted father of Frederick H. (Crystal), Susan Doubleday Wilson (Robert), and Edgar N. III (Jennifer). Ed was cherished grandfather to 9 and great grandfather to 4. Ed was predeceased by his loving parents F. Edgar "Doc" and Ethel (nee Miller) Doubleday. Relatives and friends will be invited to a celebration of Ed's life at a date to be determined later. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ed's name to the Westport Weston YMCA in Connecticut. Arrangements entrusted to Family-Funeral & Cremation of Mary Esther, Florida.
