Kathryn Ann Reynolds, 67, of Crestview, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
Thomas Marius Maroney, age 75 of Crestview, Florida passed away on June 25, 2022. Thomas was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 5, 1946, to John Thomas and Marion (nee Ignaszewski) Maroney. He was the 9th child out of 11 brothers and sisters growing up in Brooklyn. After graduating from Grover Cleveland High School at the age of 17, he joined the USAF becoming a HVAC mechanic initially. He was deployed to Vietnam for two tours then came back home and later accepted into Officers Training School.
Thomas had many roles in the military including F-16 maintenance officer, field training detachment commander and finally a contract manager at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. In 1990 he retired from the USAF after 26 years of service to his country. One of his many accomplishments while in the service was his participation on the Air Force Air Rifle shooting team and being awarded the Expert Marksmanship Medal that helped qualify him for the 1986 Pan American Games and the 1988 Calgary Olympics.
Thomas would go on to teach Air Conditioning & Refrigeration classes at St. Phillips College while having his own air conditioning business named M & M Refrigeration in San Antonio, Texas. He also enjoyed playing handball, bowling, shooting and was an excellent cook during the holidays!
Thomas is survived by his current wife, Hilda Maroney; children, Joe Maroney (Sandy), Christopher Maroney (Sandra), Jason Maroney (Mary); grandchildren, Jimmy, Lexi, Parker, Maverick, Makenna and Bailey; great grandchildren, Adalyn, Sarina, Bonnie and Olivia. He is preceded in death by his first wife of 46 years, Lynda F. Locke; mother, Marion; father, John Thomas and several brothers and sisters.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, August 5, 2022 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78230 at 10AM followed by a Graveside Service at 2PM the same day at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78209.

A man of many talents and seemingly endless energies, Thomas will be truly missed and loved by all.
Jonathan D. Hess, 41, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed away in his sleep, Friday, June 24th, 2022.
He was born in Homestead, Florida February 18, 1981 to Dean and Deborah Hess. Jon worked as a grounds member for Adam's Tree Care and continued working there after the company merged with Kodiak Tree Service. He was married to Joann Hess until 2021, though they remained close friends until he took his final breath with her by his side.
Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah; and grandfathers, Bernie Hess and Lee Snyder.
Jon is survived by his father, Dean Hess; brother, Phillip Hess; grandmothers, Betty Snyder and Barbara Hess; ex-wife and special friend, Joann Hess; several grandchildren by marriage, including his "little Gremlin"; and several other family members.
No services will be held per Jon's request. The family would like to send a special thank you to Covenant Hospice, Family-Funeral & Cremation, and especially to Adam Machalk and his crew at Kodiak Tree Service for all of their love, support and assistance during these times.

Lorraine Frances Dawkins, 90, Miramar Beach passed away peacefully on June 24th surrounded by her family. "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose, all that we love deeply becomes a part of us."- Helen Keller
Lorraine retired from the Dept. of the Army after 32 years of dedicated service to the United States government. She realized her dream moving to Avalon Beach Estates in 1998. Her greatest joy was sharing her hospitality. Lorraine loved the beach but most of all she loved family, friends, God, and country.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Nancy Lytle, Healdsburg, CA, Susan Wilding, Miramar Beach, Ellen Gruskos, Miramar Beach; son, Scott Parsons, Santa Rosa Beach, FL; brother and nephew, Herk and Justin Lightgcap, Jacksonville, FL; 3 grandchildren, Sophia Gruskos, Miramar Beach, Matthew Lytle, Healdsburg, CA, Madelyn Parsons, Portland, OR.
Funeral Services will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church at 11:30 am on Friday, July 22nd at 259 Miramar Beach Drive. A reception will follow.

Shari Ann (Bryan) Wiginton, 63, of Shalimar, Florida peacefully slipped away on June 23, 2022 after a long illness with her sister by her side.
Shari was born the 3rd of 3 girls on August 28, 1958 in Redbank, NJ to Rosalie A and Marion (Earl) Bryan, both deceased. Her sister, Debra L. Green of Gulf Shores, FL died in November of 2021. As a child Shari moved frequently. After living in Rome, NY she moved to Evansville, IN, Chatsworth, CA and Warner Robins, GA before moving to Shalimar, FL in 1971. She went to Meigs Middle School and graduated from Choctaw High School in 1976.
After marrying Ron Wiginton, Shari moved to Tallahassee, FL then to Lombard, IL where she worked as a paralegal in a large legal firm in Chicago. After her divorce she returned to her home of Shalimar. There she spent many years with her dear friend Ross Greybill at her side. She worked for various legal firms as a paralegal. She was published in WordPerfect magazine in June, 1992 for developing a computer macro for offices labeling systems.
Shari is survived by her two children, Ashley Michelle and Casey James Wiginton of FL and IL respectively; sister, Karen (Bryan) Hortman of Macon, GA; many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews.
She treasured her friendships with her alumni and dear friend, Claudia Kieszek and spent time with them often. She will be greatly missed.

Dorothy Janyce Ward French (Jan) our beloved Mom, GiGi, GMama, Grandmother and friend passed away peacefully in her home into the arms of the Lord, June 21, 2022. A Celebration of Life was held at American House Bluewater Bay in Niceville, FL where she happily lived the last 3 of her 96 fulfilling years. Playing bridge and bingo and laughing with her many friends. She is now dancing in Heaven with our daddy, her loving husband of 60 years, John Wymond French (Jerry).
Jan was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama November 25,1925 where she received her degree from Howard College (now Sanford University) at the young age of 19 and accepted a job as Chief Dietitian at Jefferson Hillman Hospital (later known as UAB hospital) at age 21, where she worked until she married Jerry in 1954. They enjoyed boating and traveling the world together. She loved birds, flowers, fishing, watching sports, bridge, bingo, Mexican Train and her dog, Jasper. She will be remembered as an avid bridge player. She is survived by her 3 children, Janet French Gray (Terry), John Wymond French III (Bonnie) and Joni Denise Duncan (Jeff); 9 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Virginia Lee Zeigler, 77, of Mary Esther, Florida passed away, Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
Wilbert George Trautvetter, 84, passed away at Covenant Care Inpatient Center at Sacred Heart Hospital, Monday, June 20, 2022, with his wife Mei Chung Trautvetter by his side, after a long battle with Parkinson's.
Bill was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 22, 1938 to Charles and Catherine (Kider) Trautvetter. He served in the Air Force for 28 years and another 13 years in the Civil Service. While serving in the Air Force in Taiwan, he met the love of his life, Mei. They were married in 1975 and spent 46 1/2 years happily married.
Bill leaves behind his loving wife, Mei; daughter, Kim; grandsons, Michael and Dallon; and great-grandson, Rylan.
Bill was a wonderful man. His family was lucky to have him and he will always be remembered by those he leaves behind.
A Private Internment with honors will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery. A Church Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's memory to a charity of one's choice.
