On Saturday, August 17, 2019, Kenneth “Ken” Thomas passed away at the age of 65 in Pace, Florida. He served in the U.S. Navy, worked at Callaway Chemical Company, Exxon Mobil, Vulcan Materials, and was a business owner.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Thomas, and mother, Elizabeth Benjamin.
Ken is survived by his two children, Alex and Trent Thomas; sister, Sandra Barbaree and his fiancée, Kay Sumner.
A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 1:30 pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, Florida 32508, the procession will meet at 1:00 pm at Olive Baptist Church-Warrington Campus, 103 West Winthrop Ave., Pensacola, Florida 32507.
A visitation will be held in his honor in Columbus, Georgia at the Linwood Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm EST.

Doris Modene Duddington, 89, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019.
Richard Bancroft Allen, age 60, passed into his eternal life with the Lord on August 14, 2019. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut and lived there for the first eight years of his life, until relocating with his family to Pensacola, Florida in 1966.
He is a 1976 graduate of Pine Forest High School and joined the USMC from 1978-1982. Rick was an electrical contractor for most of his adult life, which allowed him many fun adventures; especially his trips to Stone Mountain with his children. Rick’s fondest memories are those trips with his family and his experience in the USMC.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred B. Allen and son, Jared Luke Allen.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley M. Allen; his daughter, Jennifer Leah Adams; his granddaughter, Auden Adams; his sisters, Joanne Quina, Debbie (Mike) Fuse, Joyce Hemingway, Susan (Kurt) Larson; brothers, Fred Allen, James Allen and Steve Allen. There are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well.
In 2010, Rick’s health began to decline and his sister, Joyce, began her journey of caring for him. She tended to his needs until the very end.
A special thanks to the staff of wonderful, caring people who work at the Clifford Chester Sims Nursing Facility in Panama City; Emerald Coast Hospice, who treated Rick with so much love and dignity; the staff at Rosewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center here in Pensacola and Covenant Care Hospice, who took care of Rick with love and dignity until the end.
A special thank you to Jack Finney, a wonderful man whom out of the kindness of his heart became a friend to Rick and spent many hours volunteering his time with Rick while at Rosewood.

Onie Jean Stuckey Graham, 88, of Pensacola, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 8, 1931, in Atmore, Alabama. She was retired from numerous positions she held throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Alton (Pee Wee) Graham; her son, Bruce O’Neil Graham; her parents, George Leroy and Jesse Grey Stuckey; and two sisters, Bessie and Opal.
She is survived by her children, Wendell Stephen Graham of Pensacola, FL, Janet Lynn Graham of Pensacola, FL and Debra Hurst of Alexandria, VA.; daughter-in-law, Joy Findley; four grandchildren, AJ Graham, Troy (April) Graham, Whitney Wyatt and Christopher Clark and three great grandchildren, Colby Graham, Daniel Graham and Colby Wyatt; two sisters, Lee Brannen of Panama City, FL and Oleta (Bob) Baker of Shreveport, LA.; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019, with visitation from 3:00 – 4:00 pm and service at 4:00 pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida 32504 with Kenneth Bullard officiating.

Mary Anne Barksdale, 88, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.
John Thomas “Tom” Reed, of Cantonment, Florida went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born September 6, 1945 in Century, Florida.
With a strong work ethic, he has worked his entire adult life. Even after retirement, he still took a part-time job. He joined the Navy serving four years including a one-year tour in the Vietnam War, and then continued in the Reserves for eight years. He continued his association with the military as a foodservice manager of the Navy Exchange. He traveled and lived in several states and even lived abroad in Italy. Ultimately, he moved back home to Pensacola in 2007 to live close to his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Robert Reed; his beloved mother, Dorothy Reed; and his brother, William E. Reed.
He is survived by his sisters, Nancy Majors, Linda Gerding, Alice Willard and Sharon Colbert; brothers, Don (Laura) Reed, Faron Reed, and Michael (Vicki) Reed and sister-in-law, Anita Reed; numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces and a host of friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 with visitation from 11:00-12:00 pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida 32504 with service at 12:00pm. A Committal Service at Barrancas National Service will immediately follow the service. Pallbearers will be Michael Reed, George Reed, David Paaaina, Tommy Silvers, Steven Reed and Daniel Reed.

Brian Anthony Hansen, 47, of Milton, FL went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2019 after a lengthy illness. Brian was born in Akron, Ohio on October 1st, 1971 to George Hansen and Barbara (Stitt) Hansen. He attended Pace Elementary, Pace Middle, and Pace High Schools through 1988 and then moved with his family to Tacoma, WA where he graduated from Stadium High School in 1990. Brian loved Auburn football, jeans and cowboy boots, country dancing, fishing, working on his ’87 Camaro, grilling out, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his godmother, Susan Stoltz; aunts Jackie (Glandorff) Hansen and Jeanne (Hansen) Stoltz; uncles Fred Hansen, Larry Stoltz, and Bob Templeton; grandparents Paul and Lucille (McMillan) Stitt, Ruth (Lemke) Hansen, and George and Anita (Walkup) Hansen.
Brian is survived by his parents, George and Barbara (Stitt) Hansen; sisters, Yvonne (Hansen) Pardue, , FL and Elizabeth (Hansen) Griffin; brother, Sam (Ruth) Hansen; nieces, Jessica (Griffin) Rosado and Madison Salter; great-nieces, Amara Griffin and Hayley Rosado; nephews, Joshua Griffin, Christian Rosado and Alex Salter; uncles, Bill Lutman, David Oblisk and Jay Klewe; aunts, Adele (Hansen) Lutman, Carol (Stitt) Oblisk and Debbie (Stitt) Klewe; godfather, Fred Hansen and numerous cousins.
Brian fought a long and courageous battle against aspergilloma. We are grateful that Brian is no longer in pain and we are comforted by the knowledge that he will spend eternity with his Savior.
Brian loved life. Come help us celebrate his life and the special way he touched us all. Please dress casually, comfortably and colorfully, jeans and cowboy boots are appropriate as this is not a formal affair.

Kevin Martin McDonald, 53, of Navarre, FL died peacefully, August 9, 2019 after a short illness. Kevin was born October 3, 1965 in Lakewood, OH to John and Esther (Noon) McDonald.
Kevin graduated from Berea High School at the age of 16 in 1983. He attended Tri-C College and Cleveland State University in Cleveland Ohio where he studied business administration. He was a second generation journeyman commercial drywall finisher working alongside his father on many prestigious projects in the city of Cleveland and throughout Northeast Ohio.
He married Della King on June 24, 2005 in Medina, OH who survives Kevin. He is survived by two daughters, Danielle (Brooks) Milioni of Springfield, MO and Devanny King of Beijing, China. He leaves behind three beloved grandchildren, Sophie Milioni, Sydney “Buttons” Milioni and Landon Milioni all of Springfield, MO. Kevin is survived by his mother, Esther (Noon) McDonald and uncle, James Noon of Winter Springs, FL. He is survived by several cousins in California, Florida, Ohio and Toronto, Canada.
He was preceded in death by his father, John McDonald, and a dear aunt, Francis Donnelly of Toronto, Canada.
Kevin was very active which included his love of golf, weight lifting, football, fishing and teaching the neighborhood children from the age of 4-17, the love of “kickball”. He was an avid musician where he spent many hours singing, drumming and playing guitar. He was a vocalist and front man for a few rock tribute bands in Ohio and FL. His love of music extends to his grandchildren where they spent time together ‘on the microphone’ singing to rock tunes including most Journey songs.
A celebration of life for Kevin will be held in September at Donte’s in Brook Park, OH. This celebration will be a tribute to Kevin’s love of family, friends and music; all the things that he loved dearly.

Gene Everett Vardeman, Jr., age 48, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida was called home on Thursday, August 8, 2019.
Gene was born in Century, Florida on October 21, 1970 to Retha (Diane) Standlee and Gene Vardeman, Sr.
Gene worked most of his life in construction. His love for music was his true passion; if he wasn’t playing his guitar and singing, he was fishing. His love for life and making people laugh was one of his best qualities. Family always came first with him.
He is preceded in death by his son, Travis Griner; his sister, Sheila Vardeman; both maternal and paternal grandparents and his step-mother, KieAnn Vardeman.
Gene is survived by his girlfriend, Dawn Sanche; mother, Retha Diane (Tommy) Standlee; father, Gene Vardeman, Sr.; sons, Dylan Griner and Gene Vardeman, III; daughter, Olivia Vardeman; sisters, Donna (Rusty) Whisenhant, Sonja (TJ) Davidson, Kendra (Jimmy) Jones and Jennifer (Clark) Taft; brothers, John Crabtree, Winston (Julie) Vardeman and Jeremy (Gina) Standlee and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
