Arthur L. Thrower

I am writing to share the news of the passing of Arthur L. Thrower (also known as Louie or Snake).

Born in Atmore, Alabama, on March 7, 1954, Arthur passed away at the age of 71 on February 19, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, with his sister by his side. Our Lord and Savior granted him peace and mercy as he was taken to his forever home.

He is deeply missed by many family members and friends near and far. I will forever miss him and his deep, loving, caretaker heart. He cared for so many through the years,

including our late parents, Hollie Thrower and Thelma Singleton Thrower. His friends will dearly miss the days they shared storytelling, fishing, and cooking; he was so looking forward to getting his boat out on the water this summer.

We plan to hold a celebration of life at a later date.
