Our beloved Carol Farrell, 83, was taken from us April 14, 2026.
She was a devoted wife and mother. She was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi and was living in Meridian, Mississippi when she met her future husband on a blind date. Sparks flew and they were married fourteen months later. She moved to several cities with her Navy husband, finally stopping in Pensacola 47 years ago. She was a lifelong supporter and advocate for our special needs daughter. For years, she was an avid bowler and part of a Bunco group. She worked for 20 years as a cashier at Walmart.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Ingram; her mother, Etta Ingram; and brother, Earl "Strib" Ingram.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Chuck; daughter, Donna Farrell; son, Eddie Farrell (Amy); grandson, Hank Farrell; granddaughter, Savannah Farrell; sister, Judy Murphy (Burgess); brother, Bobby Ingram (Susan); nephews, Stephen Ingram (Laurie), Brian Ingram, and Chris Ingram (Kristi); nieces, Stephanie Ingram and Ashley Eggebeen (Anton).
Special thanks to Chuck's support group, Gary and Sharon Burgdoff and Tim and Marsha Furches.
A visitation will be held at Family-Funeral & Cremation on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 10:00AM-11:00AM, with a memorial service immediately following.
