Chester Lynn Turner, 56, of Navarre, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
Chester Lynn Turner Born in Montgomery, AL in 7/18/1969 and raised in Crestview, Florida. He leaves two estranged sons, an older brother, Ray Turner, mother, Betty Siggers and older sister Kathy Davis all of DeFuniak Springs. He also leaves his 1st and only wife, Lennora Turner, to care for his family and his sons in his absence. Lynn was a 7-time repeat felon offender and a hot shit Florida man. He worked hard, loved hard and protected the weak. He believed in protecting old people, animals and children. He would also say if anything went down while we were out in town, that he wanted to be the hero on scene. He wanted to save people from harm. He loved life and wanted lots more, but his heart was too weak after 3 heart attacks. He was cared for by his lovely wife, Lennora at home in hospice where he died at home with her.
Lynn was a Master Floor-man and tile setter and loved to make his customer's smile. His older brother Hank, now deceased and his stepfather, also deceased, taught him how to get up and go to work every day. He helped them with remodeling jobs since he left 7th grade to work full time. However, at age 15, Lynn was sentenced to prison as an Adult where a prison guards, inspired him to run and be fit to keep his body healthy and gave him books to read to keep his mind busy.
He was a simple man. He worked, made dinner and loved his woman at night.
He loved the beach and called it his “Church.” He found peace on the beach and happiness watching his fellow sunbathers. He was a godly man and always found time to give thanks for his many accomplishments. Lynn was a proud homeowner, business owner, brother, son, father and husband which is indicative of a good life, full life.
He will be missed immensely.
