Dawn Arthur Guy Lockwood, 55, of Pensacola Beach, Florida passed away on January 16, 2026. Born on May 23, 1970 in Peterhead, Scotland she was the daughter of Malcolm Guy and the late Agnes Arthur.
Dawn grew up in Brechin, Scotland and was a proud graduate of Brechin High School Class of 1986. After welcoming her son Matthew, in Dundee she embarked on a new chapter by moving to Florida in 1992, where she built a vibrant life over the next three decades. Since 2005, Dawn was a beloved fixture at Paradise Bar and Grill. As a Bartender and Waitress locally prior to finding her home at Paradise, she has touched countless lives with her kind, courteous, and caring nature. Known for her strong-willed spirit and fierce pride in her Scottish heritage, Dawn was the heart of the room for many locals and visitors alike.
Beyond her work, Dawn was a passionate fan of the Chicago Cubs and Miami Dolphins. She held a lifelong love for horses and often shared her dream of having been a professional show jumper. Above all, she was an amazing mum, wife, and friend who loved all.
She is survived by her husband, Dan O'Neill; her son, Matthew O'Brien, and daughter-in-law, Erika; her three cherished grandchildren, Lyam, Jensen, and Arley O'Brien; her father, Malcolm Guy; and her sister, Caroline Parker. She was preceded in death by her beloved mum, Agnes Arthur.
Dawn will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew her, but her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved.
A celebration of Dawn's life will be held at Paradise Bar and Grill on Pensacola Beach Sunday February 1, 2026 at 2:00pm.
