Dorothy Jean Robinson Thomas, 57, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Sunrise October 4, 1968- Sunset, January 20, 2026.
She was born in Troy, Alabama to mother, Wilma Robinson McMillan and father, B.W. Wheeler. Dorothy graduated from Choctawhatchee High School and went on to Bishop State College to earn her degree in Medical Coding. She leaves behind husband, Carleen Thomas, of Nevis, St. Kitts, Caribbean seas.
She was employed at Eglin Air Force Base. Dorothy is also survived by her sister, Mary E. (Ivan L.) Clayborne, nieces and nephews, Sophia Robinson, Michelle Robinson (Chyann), Ivan Clayborne Jr. (Tionna, Aliah, Shania, Carline), Akeem Clayborne (Dawn), Niser, Shantie. Brothers, Johnnie Reynolds (Tina), and their daughter, Jhona Robinson, cousin, Ann Paterson, all of Fort Walton Beach, FL. niece, Sarah L. Scott of Montgomery, AL (Trey, Tyrone), nephew, Tyrone (Kayla) McMillan, of Crestview, FL, brother, L.A. Leverti of Troy, AL, James Robinson, of Century, FL and his children, Deshawn and Cassandra, sister, Kristena, Wheeler, AL, nephew, Ali Clayborne, Alabama, niece, Kimberly M. Gates, of Mobile, AL as well as a host of more nieces and nephews, not mentioned. Also her in-laws, the Clayborne's.
Honorary mothers, Virginia Cross and Momma Z, and Vonya, all of Fort Walton Beach, honorary sisters, Tesa, Carlyn Briggs (Keith) Madison and their child, Keith Madison Jr., of Fort Walton Beach, Angela Berry, Tara Ramsammy and her husband.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, sister, Molly Robinson, Victoria McMillan as well as many aunties and uncles that have gone on to be with our Lord.
A Visitation will take place at Beulah First Baptist Church, 109 McGriff St. NE, Fort Walton Beach on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 11:00 am-12:00pm followed by a Service at Noon.
