Eleasure Janella Johnson (Jan) was born September 26, 1959, in Columbus, Georgia, daughter of the late Robert Reynolds and Mary Pearl Reynolds Haynes. She departed this earthly life for her eternal home on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Gulf Valor Rehabilitation Center. She was 67 years of age.
She received her education in the Coffee County School System, graduating from Enterprise High School. After graduation she joined the United States Army and proudly served her country for seven years as an administrative specialist. She received the following accommodations: Army service ribbon, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Marksman and Sharpshooter Badge.
After the military, Jan relocated to Pensacola, Florida in 1996 where she worked at Pensacola Naval Air Station in the Food service industry until she developed health challenges.
She was a faithful member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, Reverend Aramis G. Betts, Senior Pastor. She loved serving on the Nurses Guild, attending Sunday School and Bible Study; she was truly a Willing Worker. She loved her church family!
Jan loved spending time with her family and chatting on the family text message thread and playing with her dogs (Max & London). She enjoyed watching sports and would dress up to root for her favorite teams, the Atlanta Falcons and the University of Alabama (Roll Tide).
Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Reynolds (father), Mary Pearl Reynolds Haynes (mother), Gregory Johnson (brother), Victor Haynes (brother), Evelyn Turner Pugh (sister) and Natasha Reynolds (daughter-in-law).
Cherishing her fond memories forever are her sons: Christopher Johnson, Dothan AL; Jonathon Johnson, Level Plains AL; and Justin Johnson, Enterprise AL. Three grandchildren, Karianna Johnson, Josiah Johnson and Brianna Johnson. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and devoted friends.
