Ferrell Wayne Davis, 71 of Pensacola, FL, passed away on April 26, 2026, and will be missed by many. He was always so full of life and willing to help others. He was predictable in some ways like how you just knew if Ferrell was coming to a family event, there would be plenty of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and spirited conversations. Other times he could throw you a curve ball and jump out of a perfectly good airplane and talk about how badly he wanted to learn to play Pickle Ball. He spoke often about making his get away to an affordable coast like the one in Costa Rica, always dreaming of his next big adventure. He loved his family, he loved his friends, his clients and he loved Alabama football, maybe the best.

Ferrell was born on January 11, 1955 in Andalusia, AL. He attended Ferry Pass Elementary and Middle School and Woodham High School. Ferrell went on to cosmetology school where he prepared himself for a life of cutting and styling hair and getting to know his clients. This was the perfect career for him and his social personality.

Ferrell was preceded in death by his parents Robert L. (Bobby) Davis and Catherine Davis. His memory will live on with his sister Deborah Ellis, his son Jason Davis and grandson Jessie Davis.

Ferrell appreciated his family and his friends. He made his presence known when he was here. Now that he is gone he will surely be missed.
