Ferrell Hinton Nowlin

Ferrell H. Nowlin, age 83, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on January 14, 2026. Ferrell was born in Opp, Alabama to Arless C. Nowlin and Etta Lee Wise. He served in the United States Army and retired from Escambia County Sheriff's Office Fleet Maintenance after 27 years. He was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ.

Ferrell was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Janice Nowlin; his parents, Arless and Etta Nowlin; and his brothers, Sam Nowlin and Jerry Nowlin.

Left to cherish is memory are his children, Justin Nowlin and Jeffrey Ward; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and siblings, James Nowlin, Loretta Piland, Frances Abston, and Mary-Nell Hataway.
