Jennifer Safford Hinson-Adams passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 71. A native of Pensacola, Florida, she was the daughter of Bennie and Josephine Smith-Safford. Jennifer was the second child and eldest daughter of six. She attended Booker T. Washington High School in 1972, married Charles Hinson, welcoming her first child Jenae in 1975. A second daughter was born in 1981, Kadriann.

Jennifer was the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend anyone could have. She loved with her whole heart, extended kindness and generosity. Her life was devoted to working hard for her daughters, as well as caring for her family and friends. Jennifer spent more than thirty years working in food service at West Florida Hospital and for the Escambia County School Board until retirement. She loved music, dancing and especially cooking. Some of Jennifer’s favorites were game shows and watching mystery movies. Jennifer enjoyed spending time with her pride and joy, five beloved grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jennifer is survived by her two daughters: Charvella Jenae Campbell and Kadriann Renae Hinson.
