With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Johnny Lewis, 69, of Pensacola, Florida, who departed this life on February 14, 2026 — a day known for love. On a day the world celebrates love, his family reflects on the love he shared throughout his life.

Johnny was born to the late Johnny Green and Christine Lewis. He lived a life rooted in family, strength, and love, leaving behind a legacy that will continue through the generations.

Johnny was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He cherished his family deeply and took pride in watching them grow. He had a special way of bringing laughter, wisdom, and realness into every conversation.

One of his favorite sayings was, “Son, I ain’t trying to be funny,” usually right before he shared one of his good stories.

Whenever someone asked how he was doing, he would often respond, “Just holding it in the road, son.”

Those words will forever echo in the hearts of his family and serve as a reminder of his steady spirit and enduring strength.
