Judith Elaine Lambert Obituary

Judith Elaine Halstead Lambert, lovingly known as “Judy,” Momma, and Nana passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 80.

Born on October 29, 1945, in Pensacola, Florida, Judy cherished her hometown and especially loved sharing stories of her childhood growing up in East Hill.

Judy dedicated 29 years of service to the Escambia County School District before retiring. Retirement brought her many of life’s greatest joys. She loved traveling the country in their motorhome with her beloved husband, Ronnie, and their treasured Yorkie, Tessa. She found peace sitting on their screened porch with her Ronnie and their pup, Bennie watching the birds and took delight in the simple blessings of everyday life.

Above all, Judy loved her family. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved most. She was a talented writer with a wonderful sense of humor who loved to laugh and make others smile. Judy enjoyed fishing, shopping with her girls, yard sales, thrifting, gardening, and listening to the music of the Gaither Vocal Band and Elvis Presley. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, faith, and gratitude for the people around her.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Sanders; her daddy, Jerry Sanders; her father, Todd Halstead; her brothers, Ronald Halstead and Randy Halstead; her beloved sister-in-law, Bobbie Jo Halstead; her son, Donald Carey Bullard; and her husband, Edward Agerton.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Ronnie Lambert; her daughters, Lisa Lane (Lee) and Tina Gonzales (Juan); her son, Randy Bullard (Diana); her stepdaughter, Kim Adams (Mike); and her stepson, David Lambert (Taxie). She also leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren, twelve precious great-grandchildren, her brother, Jerry Sanders (Kathe), her special sister-in-law, Dale Halstead, and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Judy’s three devoted caregivers, Ms. Deborah, Ms. Lillie, and Cyndi, for the compassionate love and exceptional care they provided. They also wish to thank Josh and the entire team at VITAS Hospice for their kindness, comfort, and support during Judy’s final days.

Judy’s family finds comfort in knowing she is now reunited with those who went before her and is resting in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her love, warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A private family service celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
