Our beloved mother, Judy Lane King, otherwise known as Mom, Mawmaw and Grandmama, passed away peacefully on 4/9/26 in Milton, Florida at her home with her son by her side. She was the heart of our family, known for her laughter and unmatched devotion to her family. She has left us with wonderful memories that will last us a lifetime.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Wilbur King, her mother Virgie Little, her father Homer Little, her sister Barbara Overstreet and nephew Randy Overstreet.
She is survived by her 3 children; Darlene Sanders (Mike), Cheryl Elliott (Charlie) and Donnie Cloud; her 3 grandchildren; Keith, Krystle and Evan; her 8 great-grandchildren; Taylor, Sawyer, Natalie, Lincoln, Ayden, Paxton, Preston and Jasmine. She is also survived by her brother, Willie Little, sister-in-law, Kristie, and many nieces and nephews.
She was born on 7/26/41 in Pensacola, Florida at the Naval hospital. After having three children, she went to work at Vanity Fair being a seamstress which became her profession. After retirement she used her profession as a seamstress to begin crafting. She attended and was involved with many craft shows in our area displaying her handy work.
At this time she met and married Rev. Wilbur King, and their adventures began. She stood by him as he evangelized and they made many, many wonderful memories with their travels.
After Wilbur's death, she devoted her time by attending First Pentecostal Church in Pensacola, Florida and spending time with her great-grandchildren which brought her much joy and laughter. With this, she enjoyed the rest of her life and was thankful for the life God gave her and would do it all over again.
