Kathie Jean Hubatka

Mrs. Kathie Jean Hubatka, 74 of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed away on Thursday October 23,2025, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Born July 29, 1951, to Edgar and Jane Starret Wise in Malta, OH.

Kathie is preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Jane Starret Wise, sisters: Franceses Wise Cranford, Brothers: Edgar Wise Jr., and Daniel Wise. Her husband of 46 years Charles Hubatka IV, Grandsons: Brandon Wallen and Chirstopher Hubtaka.

Kathie is survived by her Sister: Bonnie Wise Marshall of Malta, OH, Brothers: Dean Wise of Crooksville, OH , and Kennth Wise of Sugar Grove, OH and Lawrence Wise of McConnelsville, OH.; Daughters: Michele (Jeromy) Williams of Fort Walton Beach, FL; and Briana (Kendrick Jones) Hubatka of Crestview, FL; Sons: Charles (Angela) Hubatka V of DeFuniak Springs, FL; James (Nikki) Hubatka of Decatur, AL; Thomas (Ashlee) Hubatka of Fort Walton Beach, FL; Charles (April) Hubatka VI of DeFuniak Springs, FL and Caleb Hubatka of Fort Walton Beach, FL. 7 Granddaughters, and 6 grandson’s along with 4 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.

The family will hold a private ceremony for Mrs. Hubatka when she is buried at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
