Kimberly Page Gibson Obituary

Kimberly Page Gibson passed away on January 31, 2026, in Niceville, Florida.  She was 66 years old.

Kim was born on October 5, 1959, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, to Hoyt and Monette Page. She grew up in Valparaiso and remained in the Valparaiso-Niceville area throughout her life. She graduated from Niceville High School and eventually began her professional career at what is now Northwest Florida State College. She retired as Administrative Assistant in the Athletics Department after almost 30 years of service.

Kim was smart and quick-witted, loved a good laugh, and had a wicked sense of humor. She definitely knew how to have a good time. She loved family gatherings, going to the beach, and listening to music, especially Tracy Chapman, Graham Nash, Bob Dylan and the Beatles.

Her dog Bullet was her steadfast companion and was by her side when she left this world.

Her colleagues at Northwest Florida State College held a special place in her heart. They deserve special mention as they were like a second family to her, and many continued to stay in touch after she retired.

Kim is preceded in death by her parents Hoyt and Monette Page, and by her son, Hogan Page Gibson. She is survived by sisters Meegan Page of Milton, Beth Page Gregory (Albert) of Tallahassee, and brother Chris Page (Shannon) of Valparaiso. She is also survived by nephews Ryan Barnhart, Evan Barnhart (Remi) and Adam Gregory, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later time.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter.
