In Loving Memory of Linda Ruth Gray

Linda Ruth Gray, born September 2, 1946, in Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with dementia. She will be remembered for her bright spirit, her love of celebration, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Whether it was planning holiday and birthday celebrations or having summer cookouts, Linda’s happiest moments were spent sharing these times with her family and friends. She shared her love for dancing and music with everyone around her and had a gift for turning even the simplest moments or get togethers into fun lifelong memories.

Linda will be deeply missed, but the celebrations she created, the friendships she nurtured, and the love she shared will continue to brighten the lives of all who knew her.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Minnie Murphy; her siblings, Bubba Andrews and Gloria McCurry; and her beloved daughter, Heather Tyler. She is survived by her sister, Fran (Russ) Delseni; her daughters, Michelle (Eric) Telhiard, Janine Lewis, and April Gray; ten grandchildren; fifteen great‑grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a legacy of love for family that will continue through each of them.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends on April 11 from 1–3 p.m. at Family Funeral and Cremation in Pensacola, Florida. All who knew and loved Linda are invited to gather, remember, and honor the beautiful light she brought into the world.
