Lusetta May Rapp of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away November 22nd, 2025, with her daughter by her side. She was born on December 21st, 1964, at Fort Dix in New Jersey.

Lusetta is survived by her daughter Jessica Rapp, her granddaughter Ivy Lee both of Gulf Breeze, Fl, her mother Joyce Morrison of Paterson, NJ, her two sisters Georgette (Kenny) Payne of Old Tappan, NJ and Denise (Chris) Bates of Gulf Breeze, FL. As well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Lusetta is preceded in death by her late husband Christian Rapp Sr (2007), her son Christian Rapp Jr (2021), and her father Alexander Haywood Jr (1998) all who were residents of Gulf Breeze, FL.

Lusetta grew up in Paterson, NJ. She was the oldest of three girls and loved being a big sister. She was in drama club throughout high school with a love for theatre, as well as a gift for baking. She graduated from Passaic County Technical and Vocational High School in 1982. She would later start dating the love of her life Christian Rapp and they would wed February 4th, 1984, later that year welcoming their first child Christian Rapp Jr. A few years later they would welcome their second child, a daughter Jessica Rapp. They would relocate to Gulf Breeze, FL in the late spring of 1995. Later becoming business owners and opening Christian Rapp Plumbing Services that served the community well for many years until the passing of her husband. Lusetta was a long-time member of the local VFW post 4407, often getting involved in service acts that involved crafting. She was a big time crafter. Her biggest hobby though was reading, often reading several books on her kindle a week. She was a Girl Scout leader for several years for her daughter's troop in the mid-90s. She loved video games especially with her son, Zelda being their favorite. She was an avid dart player in her day. Her greatest joy in life though came later when she became a Grandmother. There wasn't anyone that knew her that hadn't seen a picture or heard a story about her precious granddaughter Ivy. The two of them would fill her walls with coloring pages they created together. They would often have 3-4 different craft projects going on. She shared her love of gaming with Ivy. She would let her download dozens of games on her phone so that they then could snuggle and play together.

Lusetta was a precious daughter, a loving sister, a good wife, a caring Mother, an amazing Grandma, and a wonderful friend to all those lucky enough to call her one. She will be greatly missed. Her favorite quote is something we could all live by "Remember to always leave a little happiness in the hearts of all those you meet." She did just that.

A celebration of life for Lusetta will be held on Thursday January 29th, 2026, at 11 am at Community Life Church at 4115 Soundside Drive Gulf Breeze, FL 32563
