Dr. Patricia “Patti” Robinson Scuderi passed away on January 19, 2026. Above all else, Patti cherished her family. She shared 13 deeply happy years with her spouse and soul partner, Edward “Ed” Scuderi, Jr. Patti was a devoted mother to her sons, Hunter Parten (Christie) and Collin Crowson (Robyn), stepmom to Meghan Bagley (Sean) and Phillip Scuderi (CJ). Patti was a proud and adoring “Gigi” to her six grandchildren: Bradley, Tyler, Hallie, William, James, and Ella. Whether it was reading stories, making up silly songs, or sharing belly laughs, being their Gigi was the highlight of her life, and she radiated pure happiness every moment spent with them. She was a true rock to her sister, Terri Robinson (Shannon), with whom she shared a loving and unbreakable bond.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ester Porter and Thomas Albert Robinson.
Most recently a resident of Pensacola, Florida, Patti spent many years living in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi and dedicated 22 years to Pearl River Community College as Director of the Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Under her leadership, the program grew into one of the most successful in the nation. Following her retirement from PRCC, Patti pursued a career in real estate, earning her realtor’s license and taking great pride in serving her clients with integrity, fairness, and genuine care.
Throughout her life, Patti touched the hearts of countless friends, students, colleagues, and clients. The only thing greater than her larger-than-life personality was her generous heart. She gave freely and selflessly, extending kindness not only to those she loved, but also to those she had only just met. Though her physical presence may be absent from us, her spirit will remain in our hearts.
The family asks that donations be directed to either Doctors Without Borders or the Pensacola Humane Society.
