Robert "Bob" Lee Kelley, 73, of Pensacola, FL, passed away peacefully on 29 March 2026.
A devoted and beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and Catholic disciple of Christ, he lived a life marked by strength, generosity, and fidelity to his family and his faith.
He was born on 8 February 1953, in Jacksonville, FL, to Catherine and Cordell Kelley. Bob attended Escambia and Catholic High Schools, the latter where he met his wife, Marilyn Kelley, who preceded him in death. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and went on to earn bachelors and masters degrees in accounting from the University of West Florida, beginning an impactful career as a CPA. Through his work, service, and daily life, he earned the respect of those around him by steady example.
He is survived by his three sons - Brandon, Brett, and Bryn; his six grandchildren - Trenten, Bryceton, Emerson, Josiah, Makayla, and Zachariah; his great-grandson - Clark; and his two brothers - Jimmy and Tommy.
Those who knew him understood that his generosity and selflessness were the fabric of his character, and through his faith, he showed us a man who strove to live with integrity, acted with quiet charity, and imitated and loved Christ in his daily life.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's on 10 April 2026 at 1130am, followed by his internment service at Bayview Cemetery at 1pm.
He will be deeply missed. Semper Fi.
