Ronald Lee Nicholson

Ronald Lee Nicholson, 58, of Pace, FL passed away on December 6, 2025 after several years of failing health.  Ron was born on December 9, 1966 in Pensacola, FL. to his parents Eugene and Sue Nicholson.  He lived in Pace, FL until his family moved to Pensacola when he was 4.  Ron attended high school in several places as he followed his mother with her job at BE&K, graduating from Fernandino Beach High School in 1985.  He then worked for BE&K Construction Company while in Pennsylvania, then moved back to the Pensacola area.  He worked at Winn-Dixie where he met his future wife Lori Nicholson, and then at Sam's Food Club. Ron and Lori were married in the Spring of 2003 on Pensacola Beach. Ron began working in the mail room of a business that processed insurance claims, making twice a day trips to the post office. 

Ron enjoyed being with people, played beach volleyball, and loved fish fry's with his family. He was an ardent Gator's fan. 

Ron was preceded in death by Lori and his mother Sue Nicholson. 

He leaves behind his father Gene Nicholson and wife Joan Nicholson, two siblings, Cindy Foote with her husband David Foote and Fred Nicholson with his wife Jackie Nicholson, as well as five nieces and nephews, (Jenny, Aaron, Laura, Andrew, and Christopher) and seven great nieces and nephews (Lainey, Bethany, Noah, Oliver, Maggie, Madelyn and Luke). 

The family will have a time of visitation at 2:00 pm on December 27th at Charity Chapel in Pensacola, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm.  Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
