Sherri Renee Tyree, maiden name Driver, was born on February 24, 1967, in Raleigh, North Carolina, and passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 59.
Sherri spent the last decade of her life in Pensacola, Florida, where she built a life centered around her family and her faith. She was a caring and selfless woman who would do anything she could to help someone in need. Her kindness and willingness to always be there for others left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
She loved her family deeply and treasured the time she spent with them. She especially enjoyed shopping trips with her daughter Savanna and spending time with her grandson Waylon. She found joy in life’s simple moments, whether she was putting together puzzles, taking photos, or watching racing. She was also a devoted Alabama football fan and rarely missed a chance to cheer them on.
Sherri loved going to church and had a strong belief in God. Her faith was an important part of her life and gave her strength and comfort.
She is survived by her loving mother, Shirley Johnston; her son, Matthew Tyree; her daughter-in-law, Miriah Tyree; her daughter, Savanna Driver; and her grandson, Waylon Tyree.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Driver; her stepfather, Wayne Johnston; and her grandson, Jaxon Tyree.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on April 20, 2026, at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.
Sherri will be remembered for her love, her kindness, and the way she always put others before herself.
