In Loving Memory of Timothy F. Sullivan

Timothy F. Sullivan, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, veteran, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 92.

 Born in Staten Island, New York, on May 30, 1933, Timothy lived a life defined by service, dedication, and love for family. He attended Saint Peter's High School, where he formed lifelong values that guided him throughout his remarkable journey.

In 1952, Timothy proudly enlisted in the United States Navy. He honorably served his country for four years, demonstrating courage, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the mission. During his service, Timothy was stationed aboard naval vessels and at shore facilities, supporting operations during a pivotal time in our nation's history. He carried the values of honor, loyalty, and duty with him always—values that shaped his character and guided him throughout his life.

Following his service, Timothy built a distinguished career with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he worked for more than 30 years. Known for his strong work ethic, professionalism, and reliability, he earned the respect and friendship of countless colleagues during his career.

Bowling was a lifelong passion for Timothy. He enjoyed the sport for more than 50 years, cherishing the friendships and memories made both on and off the lanes. Timothy was a huge New York Yankees fan. Nothing made him happier than watching the Yankees with his family, sharing in the thrill of the game and the love of his team. Family was at the heart of everything he did. His love, guidance, and support were gifts he gave generously every single day.

Timothy’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He is survived by his children: Lisa Gusweller, Timothy Sullivan, and Carol Smilowitz. He was the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and the cherished great-grandfather of ten great-grandchildren. His kindness, wisdom, humor, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on each of their lives.

Timothy will be remembered for his warm smile, his loyalty to family and friends, his dedication to service, and the example he set through a life well lived. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
