Dr. William H. Flowers, DVM , passed away on Feb., 9th, 2026, in Pensacola.
Born on September 1,1942 in Foley, Alabama, William was the son of Homer Flowers and Bertie Mae Smith Flowers. He was a graduate of Foley, HS class of 1960, Perkinston, Jr. College in 1962,and Auburn School of Veterinary Medicine in 1969. He practiced at Osceola Pet Care, and grew blueberries in Beulah for several years.
William was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dr. Leon Flowers, DVM,(Dolly), sisters Bessie Flowers Wallace (Bruce), and June Flowers Gabbard (Hugh).
He is survived by his wife Jane, sisters Jane Flowers Bulich, Marti Flowers Lovelady (Lyn), and brothers Gary, Troy(Twila), Kyle (Sondra), and Charlie Flowers. William was proud of the accomplishments of his many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to the caring staff of The Residence Memory Care and Emerald Coast Hospice. They have been a blessing.
A remembrance service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, charity donations can be made in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine’s greatest need.
