He is preceded in death by his parents, David Wesley Johnson and Shirley Parks. Johnny was born in Pensacola on July 30, 1962, to David and Shirley Johnson. Many people in this community knew him to be a “jack of all trades.” He was someone that you could call for the littlest repair to the most complex building needs. His work was always something that had reason to be admired and desired. He was a part of many homes built in the community, and most of his family have a piece of his construction in their home to always remember him by. Most recently, finishing the porch addition to his sister’s home, where they would share his favorite past times coffee and food. Johnny loved his children and grandchildren, and they will live with the memory of his life and their time spent together. Johnny, Tammy, and Ronnie will forever be the bond any siblings would wish to have; they are the foundation of dedication, love, and support. We all may feel Johnny was taken too early, but he knew God and made an everlasting impression on everyone he encountered. Therefore, his transition into eternity brings peace to our hearts, knowing we all will be reunited one day. He will live through every shared story, memory, lesson taught, and in the hearts of those, he left behind. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 28, 2022, at Graceway Baptist Church located at 6500 Westmont St. Pensacola, with refreshments immediately following.
