![]() Brian Matthew White, 41 of Pensacola, Florida, was called home on 1/20/2022. He was born in Fort Benning, Georgia on February 28, 1980 to 1SG(R) Dean and Emalee White. He was a lover of sports and can always be seen wearing his jerseys and hats during game days, he was also an avid lover of his Overalls. He could always be seen either dancing in the kitchen with his loving spouse Tammy Carter or wearing matching jerseys with his granddaughter, Ryleigh Carter watching games together. Or going to race with his dad. Brian Matthew White is preceded in death by his loving Grandmother, Ruth O Andrae and Grandparents Leroy and Beatrice White, and 2 Aunts, Dorothy K Andrae Harnish and Bobbie Benton, and 2 Uncles Ray and Bruce Andrae. David was born May 5th, 1960, in Victorville, California and lived his early years in Warwick, Rhode Island. His family later moved to Pensacola where he graduated from Woodham Highschool. Throughout his life he was often found at the beach, on his boat, or surfing. He was a local business owner for many years. David was preceded in death by his parents Sue and Carl “Swannie” Swanson, and his brother Lanny. He is survived by his son Cameron, his daughter Kandace, his brothers Craig and Danny, and his sister Kathy. She was born on August 7, 1956, to Howard and Ruth Langley. Denise was a 1974 Graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Pensacola, Florida. Her greatest achievement in life was giving birth to her only son, Richard. She loved him more than life itself. Denise is preceded in death by her parents and her older brother, Eddie Langley. Denise is survived by her son, Richard Langley, 2 younger brothers, Robert, and John, and her 2 granddaughters, whom she loved greatly, Peyton Laurene Langley and Ali Marie Langley. Palmore, Jr. of Fairhope, Alabama passed away January 19, 2022 after a long illness.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Lauren W. Back (Evan), grandson Easton and granddaughter Everlie of Atlanta, GA; his sister Kathryn Palmore of Huntsville AL and brother David S. Palmore of Beatrice, Alabama. Mr. Palmore had served in the Alabama Air National Guard as a helicopter pilot; attended the University of South Alabama, Mobile, AL and the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He had been employed with the State of Alabama Department of Transportation. A private service for the family will be held at a later date. ![]() Robert Earl (Bob) Gimlin, 78, of Pensacola, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 14th, 2022. He was born on May 18, 1943 in Fidelity, Illinois one of eight children to William Edward and Alma Grace Gimlin. He married Patricia Henderson on November 17, 1964 in Elko, Nevada and eventually moved to Pensacola where together they raised four children. Bob served in the U.S Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran, he worked for Westinghouse as a Nuclear Master Welder until his retirement after 25 years of service and then drove for Enterprise Car Rental for 15 years. Bob was an active and faithful member of Family Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patricia, son, Rusty Gimlin; daughter Sheryl Ann Johnson; his parents; brothers Harold, Kenneth and Clyde Gimlin; sister, Wilma Copenbarger. Bob is survived by his daughter Cyndi (Jim) Mobley of Pace, Florida, son David (Lori) Gimlin of Foley, Alabama; nine grandchildren: Crystal Gimlin, Todd (Judith) Gimlin and Will (Catherine) Gimlin, all of Texas, Ashley Johnson of Pensacola, Kyle (Jessica) Johnson of Clarksville, Tennessee, James (Kailee) Johnson of Oak Grove, Kentucky, Kelsey (Robert) Moore of Pensacola, Chase Gimlin of Pace and Mali Gimlin of Foley; nine great-grandchildren, Zoey, Neveah, Athena, Lyla, Caitey, Will Jr, Lilly, Breydon, and Charlotte; two sisters, Louise Wilkes of Cave City, Arkansas and Julia Odum of Niles, Ohio; one brother, Steve Gimlin of Boise, Idaho; sister in law, Sue Henderson of Gulfport, Mississippi along with several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 21st, 2022 at Family-Funeral and Cremation. Visitation will be at 5:30 pm to with service to follow at 6:30 pm with Pastor Brad Moffett officiating. Interment will be private at Barrancas National Cemetery. ![]() LaVerna Clark Cox 1935 - 2022 LaVerna Clark Cox was born on February 20, 1935 in Alton, Illinois to Fred and Vera Clark. She found the love of her life and married Reed Cox on December 31, 1951. She was a devoted mother, always looking for ways to make a little extra money to help support her family. Both worked for McDonald Douglas in St. Louis. LaVerna was saved in 1995 and had the privilege of leading Reed to the Lord. She began working with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Missouri where she taught kids in Good News Clubs and led many to the Lord Jesus. In 1982 they moved to Sun City, Arizona to be near their son, Clark, and grandchildren. They both loved the water, so they moved to Pace, FL in 1995 and joined Olive Baptist Church. LaVerna has always taken the Great Commission to heart and her favorite thing to do was to lead someone to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Cox, daughter-in-law, Cheryl Cox, and grandchildren, Dustin Jay Cox, Nichole Marie Cox Kenyon (Corey), and Adam Reed Cox, a dear brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Margy Cox, and LaVerna's precious service dog, Houdini (Dini), who she took to nursing homes to cheer up the people there - and tell them about Jesus. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reed, and son, Clark. She is now celebrating with them in heaven! A Memorial Service will be held for Laverna at 11 am on January 29th at Olive Baptist Church (6, 7, 8 Building). Milton was born in Arlington, GA to Benjamin and Arizona Craft on August 10, 1933. He married June Wilcox on June 6, 1952 in Bradenton, FL. He worked as a trainman for CSX Railroad. Milton is preceded in death by his Wife, June Craft, and Son, Milton James Craft. Milton is survived by His Sons Benjamin Hoke, Ronald Wayne and Andrew Kevin Craft; His Grandchildren Christian, Timothy, Erika, Colby, Wayne, Lauren, Taylor, Abby, Cara, Tori, James and Alexis; and His Great Grandchildren Kayla, Angel, Adrianna, James, Makayla, Marvin, Caleb, Rainey, Ronnie, Ensley, Caroline, Evangeline, Ava, Daniel and Savannah.
