Left to cherish her memory are her son Jordon King of Pensacola, Florida; her parents, Clay and Andrea King of Pensacola, Florida; her brother, sister-in-law, and nephew Brent, Marissa, and Bryce King of Pensacola, Florida; her uncles, Mike King of Tucson, Arizona and Billy Williams of Chester, Virginia; her aunts, Janice King of Elizabethtown, North Carolina, Tony (Jack) Albertson of Clarksville, Virginia, Ruth (Henry) Wilson of Southern Pines, North Carolina and Beth Hutchins of Raleigh, North Carolina and numerous cousins. She also leaves behind many friends two of whom, Amy Davis of Lewisburg, Tennessee and Rachel Brown of Pensacola, Florida deserve special mention. They helped to ease her final days. We are also deeply grateful to all members of West Florida Hospital who strove to make Michaela’s passing as comfortable as possible.
Michaela (Mikey) was an aspiring artist in the genre of fluid art. Her marketing of her works was put on hold by the current pandemic. Many people showed an interest in her art. Michaela always said that her painting gave her solace and joy, that her soul flowed into her works.
Family-Funeral & Cremation oversaw her arrangements. There will be no formal gathering at this time, but a notice of a celebration of her life will be announced once the pandemic has eased enough for such gathering to be safe for all. Michaela was one of the kindest people in the world. Those who knew her often spoke of her kindness. Michaela was a strong advocate for persons of abuse. She was a trained counselor for the abused and offered her assistance to those in need.
