Tommy Laughman, 61, of Pace, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

Tommy Lynn Laughman, age 61, passed away at his home on April 26, 2022.  Tommy was a son, brother, husband, and loving father.

He was born in Elkhart, Indiana on December 13, 1960, the second son Dale L. and Leona D. Laughman. He graduated in 1980 from Constantine High School, which is located in Constantine, Michigan. After high school, he enlisted in the Air Force Reserve and retired with 20 years of service. He also worked as a mechanic and a heavy equipment operator throughout his lifetime.  Most recently, he was an employee of the City of Milton, Florida.

Tommy had struggled with poor health for a number of years, which forced him to take early retirement.  This did not take away his love of life.  He enjoyed his family and his favorite sports teams, the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Red Wings. He came from a racing family and loved watching NASCAR, drag and mud racing. He was an avid collector of NASCAR memorabilia.

His parents, Dale L. and Leona D. Laughman, preceded him in death along with his grandparents Edwin and Lucille Dick and Jaris and Tilly Laughman.

Tommy was a loving father to his three sons and one daughter. His two younger sons, Anthony and Aaron Laughman were born in his second marriage to Abbi Shouppe Laughman.  His eldest son, Thomas Laughman and daughter, Anna (Stephen) Shelton, were born in his first marriage to Susan Snyder.   Tommy loved his children dearly and was an active part of their lives. He loved hanging out with his kids, having a meal, watching a game, or playing a game of pool.  He was there for their achievements, their graduations, and for his daughter Anna's wedding.  His kids are heartbroken over his passing.

Tommy also leaves behind his brothers, Terry and Tracy (Barbie) Laughman along with nieces, nephews, and other family and friends in both Michigan and Florida.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022  from 3:00 - 4:00 pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627 North Davis Hwy., Pensacola, Florida 32503.
