![]() Melvin R. Kogelman, 60, passed away peacefully in his home on April 26, 2022, with his brother Larry by his side. He was born June 8, 1961, in Mt. Clemens the son of William and Shirley (Hunt) Kogelman. He was a Graduate of Eisenhower High School and served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. Melvin lived in Michigan until 1999, and then moved to his final residence in Milton, Florida. He was also a Member of VFW post 4659 in Shelby Township, Michigan, and the American Legion in Florida. He is survived by his Daughter Katherine Fitrakis (John) of St. Petersburg, Florida and siblings; Betty Rozumny of Kimball, Richard (Jackie) Kogelman of St. Helen, Larry (Vicky) Kogelman of Macomb, Donald Kogelman of Leonard, Pauline (Leo) Thorlakson of Oxford and Marie (Art) Miller of Clinton Twp. Many nieces and nephews and close friends, Garen and Catherine Blythe. He was preceded in death by his Father William Kogelman, Mother Shirley Kogelman, Brother Alfred Kogelman, and Twin Brother Calvin Kogelman. Davis Highway, Pensacola, Florida 32503. ![]() Tommy Laughman, 61, of Pace, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Tommy Lynn Laughman, age 61, passed away at his home on April 26, 2022. Tommy was a son, brother, husband, and loving father. He was born in Elkhart, Indiana on December 13, 1960, the second son Dale L. and Leona D. Laughman. He graduated in 1980 from Constantine High School, which is located in Constantine, Michigan. After high school, he enlisted in the Air Force Reserve and retired with 20 years of service. He also worked as a mechanic and a heavy equipment operator throughout his lifetime. Most recently, he was an employee of the City of Milton, Florida. Tommy had struggled with poor health for a number of years, which forced him to take early retirement. This did not take away his love of life. He enjoyed his family and his favorite sports teams, the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Red Wings. He came from a racing family and loved watching NASCAR, drag and mud racing. He was an avid collector of NASCAR memorabilia. His parents, Dale L. and Leona D. Laughman, preceded him in death along with his grandparents Edwin and Lucille Dick and Jaris and Tilly Laughman. Tommy was a loving father to his three sons and one daughter. His two younger sons, Anthony and Aaron Laughman were born in his second marriage to Abbi Shouppe Laughman. His eldest son, Thomas Laughman and daughter, Anna (Stephen) Shelton, were born in his first marriage to Susan Snyder. Tommy loved his children dearly and was an active part of their lives. He loved hanging out with his kids, having a meal, watching a game, or playing a game of pool. He was there for their achievements, their graduations, and for his daughter Anna's wedding. His kids are heartbroken over his passing. Tommy also leaves behind his brothers, Terry and Tracy (Barbie) Laughman along with nieces, nephews, and other family and friends in both Michigan and Florida. Jim was born February 5, 1948 to James Edward Diamond Sr. and Dorothy Nowling Diamond. of Pensacola Fl. Jim survived by his wife Sandra Snow Diamond, Mother Dorothy Nowlin Diamond Macks, Mother-in-law Delilah Parker, stepson Jared Snow. brother Jacky Alan Macks, sister-in-laws Tina Macks, Jana Andrews, Karen Hicks, Brother-in-law's David Colville, Steve Colville, Jack Diamond and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his beloved wife of over 40 years Dale Marie Diamond. father James Edward Diamond Sr Brothers Sammy Diamond, Russell Diamond and Barry Diamond. Father and mother-in-law Emmett and Liz Shelby brother-in-law Jean Shelby. Jim made Pensacola Florida his home worked many years at the Naval Exchange in Pensacola Florida before he retired. Jim found a new love he was an assistant pastor at Calvary Way Church in Pensacola before he retired a 2nd time. Jim loved the Lord and dedicated his entire life to help others. He loved preaching the word of God and loved dearly all his church family. Jim also loved children and dedicated many many hours and years to helping orphanages in Mexico. Jim found love a second time and married a wonderful woman Sandy Snow Diamond which he loved dearly he also loved dearly his mother-in-law Delilah Parker and all his sister-in-laws and brother in laws. Jim also loved all his nieces and nephews if you knew Jim, you knew you was loved by him. ![]() Gerald Sanford Holmes, 72, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. Gerald was born on October 15, 1949, to parents Richard and Clara (Poole) Holmes in Brooklyn, NY. He matriculated through the NYC Public School system attending PS 111 and Long Island City High School. Sometime after graduating high school, Gerald attended Queens College, the City University of New York where he majored in Liberal Arts. In April of 1975, Gerald acquired his US Merchant Mariner’s Credential and was hired as a Seaman for Mobile (later to become ExxonMobil), and eventually became Fleet Chef. On August 16, 2011, he retired as Fleet Chef from ExxonMobil and settled quietly in Pensacola, FL. Gerald was predeceased by both parents as well as his sister Traci Kim and brother Larry O. Holmes. He is survived by his sons Troy Lamont Holmes and Skylar Smith; brothers Richard S. Holmes II (Cassaundra) and Wesley Holmes as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins. Gerald will be interred at the Edenborn Cemetery in McClellandtown, PA (Fayette County) on June 4, 2022 at 3 pm. He will join his parents, Richard & Clara, brother Larry O., sister Traci K., and a host of other family members.
