![]() Audrey Ellen MacMillan Lunsford, age 67, passed away on July 27, 2020 at Baptist Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born on December 20, 1952, in Salamanca, NY, to Lester Howard and Marilyn (France) MacMillan. Audrey is survived by two daughters, Jeannette Blancheri, and husband, Eric Blancheri of Flomaton, AL, and Shannon (Patty) Neal of Crestview, FL; two stepsons, Jason Neal of Irving, TX, and Joey Neal, of Milton, FL; three grandchildren, who loved and adored her, Becca Taylor, of Navarre, FL, Riley Neal, of Navarre, FL, and Logan Blancheri, of Flomaton, AL; one great-grandson, who she cherished, Maddox DeCamp, of Navarre, FL: two brothers, Bruce MacMillan, of Fulton, NY, and Craig MacMillan, of Ludowici, GA; two sisters, Beannie MacMillan, of Salamanca, NY, and Lorraine MacMillan, of Westwego, LA; one uncle, Lane France, of Salamanca, NY; and too many nieces, nephews, and cousins to count, but she loved every single one of them. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester Howard and Marilyn France MacMillan; four sisters, Sandra McCracken, Joanne Vertigan, Linda Lejune, and Rocky Hebert; two brothers, Ray MacMillan and Brian MacMillan; and a special friend, Howard Pontious. Audrey graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School, in Fulton, NY, and completed some college courses at Pensacola Junior College, in Pensacola, FL. In her lifetime, Audrey worked as a medical secretary at Santa Rosa Hospital, as a driver for the Council on Aging, and as much loved, special needs school bus driver. Audrey lived in Florida until 2006, when she moved back to New York to care for her mother, Marilyn. During her time in New York, Audrey worked as the Activities Director at Absolute Care Nursing Home, in Salamanca. In June of 2018, after spending a month in the hospital, she moved back to Florida to live with her daughters. Audrey loved spending time with her family and friends. It didn’t matter if they were going for a drive, or sitting outside watching the birds, squirrels, and lizards. She enjoyed coloring in books and on her tablet; reading to, blowing bubbles with, and sneaking candy to Maddox; and spending time at home or getting something to eat with her personal chauffeur, Logan. Her favorite time of the year was in July, when the MacMillan/France reunion would take place in New York. Audrey always wished her family lived closer so they could see each other more often, but was grateful for the time they spent together. A service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 6:00pm, at Beulah Chapel Assembly of God, 2341 County Highway 4A, Century, FL, with Pastor Tim Floyd officiating. There will be a potluck dinner in the fellowship hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to honor Audrey, may volunteer time at a nursing home of their choice, or reach out and spend time with an elderly friend, family member, or neighbor. Helping the elderly was one of Audrey’s passions. Wanda Lynn Weeks Qualls, born October 19, 1959 of Milton, FL passed away on July 27, 2020.
She is preceded in death by her father, Euwell Adolph Weeks; her mother, Barbara Ann Smith Weeks and her twin brother, Wendell Ken Weeks. She is survived by her sisters, Mitzi, Mason and Sandra Davis; brother, Scotty Weeks; children, Jennifer Smith, Joey Smith and Justin Qualls and her grandchildren. Janet was born on April 20, 1933 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to parents, Calvin William Henley and Virginia Elizabeth King. Her occupation was that of Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Matriarch and Wonder Women. She is responsible for four generations of family and never lost the ability to make everyone of us feel like we were the most important person in the world. Janet loved playing a good game of Yahtzee; enjoyed company and a good cup of coffee sitting on her back porch and admiring and tending to her lovely flower garden. She thoroughly enjoyed making her own jewelry; necklaces, bracelets, earrings that she loved to send to her family. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Sonny and Phillip Henley and her grandsons, Richard Johnston, James Andrews and Steven Turus, III. ![]() Sallie Jones (Mother Outing) Outing 82, a lifetime resident of Pensacola, Florida,transitioned on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Sallie was born in Evergreen, Alabama, April 13, 1938, to the late March and Abby Jones. Sallie attended Washington High School, where she met the love of her life. Sallie Jones married Dewey Daniel Outing and it lasted until death did they part fifty-eight years later. Sallie retired from McRae’s, where she served faithfully for over twenty years. Sallie was a beloved member of the Empowerment Church, 407 West Michigan Avenue, Pensacola, Florida, Brian & Gwen Thompson, Pastors. Sallie is survived by four children, Rhonda G. Mason (Bryan) of Kathleen, Georgia, Michael D. Outing (Ruth) of Pensacola, Florida, and Sean D. She was a devout Christian and member of Zion Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Pensacola. Marva Agee was born in Century, Florida on February 1, 1940. She graduated from George Washington Carver High School in 1957 where she was a talented member of the girl’s basketball team. Marva would later attend Pensacola Community College. Her 50-year skilled career included work in various administrative positions with business and non-profit organizations located in Detroit, Michigan; Milpitas, California and Pensacola, Florida. She was employed as an accountant with the University of West Florida and also worked as an Escambia County substitute teacher before retiring in 2013. Marva was blessed with a large and loving family. She married Deacon Frank L. Macklin, Jr. in 1977. Together, they committed to raising a blended family with endurance, discipline and humility. Truly a servant of the Lord, Marva was an unwavering caregiver. She was gracious, generous, energetic, independent and always proclaimed the positive things in life. Marva loved the National Football League and was a super fan of the Chicago Bears. Her joys included fishing, cooking and baking for her family, interior decorating, offering words of encouragement and praise, and singing in her church choir. Marva is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at rest with her Savior. A family historian and trusted advisor, Marva had an extraordinary and detailed memory of the people, places and things that impacted her family and the world. She is survived by her husband, Frank; their daughter, Charlotte Macklin; her sons, Rick Tyms (Heather) and Nathaniel Tyms; her daughters, Linda Agee-Fountain, Gloria Tyms-Hood (Gregory), and Karema Tyms-Harris. Marva was very thankful for her long family-tree that included dozens of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of in-laws, extended family members, and lifelong friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Syd Netters and Margie Agee Horn; her daughter, Jada Tyms; her grandchildren, Tosha Tyms and Peter Harris III and her siblings, Blanche Bailey, Walter Dumas, Joan Gail Dumas and Freddie Nelson Horn. A Homegoing Celebration is scheduled for Monday, August 3, 2020 at Zion Hope Primitive Baptist Church located at 201 West Leonard Street, Pensacola, FL. Family visitation is 10am. Pastor Bernard Yates will be officiating the 11am funeral service. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at the church. A private interment service will be held at the Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola Naval Air Station. |
