Tish Ann (Chessher) Briggs, January 28, 1939- Aug 31, 2022 age 83 of Crestview FL passed away Wednesday, Aug 31, 2022 under the care of Southern Oaks Nursing Home/ Regency Hospice in Pensacola Fl; after nine courageous years fighting with Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB)/ Alzheimer’s disease. She was born January 28, 1939 in Baker Florida to Joseph Albert Chessher and Alma Lanore Williams Chessher. She was a long time resident of Jennings Florida, where she was a devoted preacher’s wife and caregiver for 32 years to Forice “Wayne’ Briggs whom preceded her in Death on May 20, 2013. She was long time cook/ waitress at Marbella in Tampa FL; Jennings Bluff Hunting Preserve in Jennings FL, and the Southern Kitchen in Perry GA. She was also co-owner of T & W Sales with her late husband.
She is survived by sons: Veron Wayne Officer , Leland Darrell Officer ( Susan) , Nathan Thornton, Twin daughters, Lori Ann Brackin (Donald “Scooter”) and Lisa Vandervort ( Jeffrey) ; 2 stepsons: Ferrell Briggs and ( Terry) , Jeffrey “Lyle” Briggs ( Gwen), one stepdaughter: Leslie Frazier,( proceed by Bill Hudson) and 3 siblings: Faye Hobbs, Mollie Head, J.B. Chessher, Grandchildren: Neisa Vandervort, Jeffrey Vandervort II, Donald “Tater’ Brackin II, Melissa Welsh, Lauren Weinberg, Michael Weinberg. Step-Grandchildren: Evelyn A Briggs and Jeffrey “Ian” Briggs, and Annabeth Eddins, Brad Briggs and Jacob Briggs and Carolyn D Hudson and Great Grandchildren: Kathryn Marcus, and Troy Marcus JR., Delaney Hudson, and Travis officer and many nieces/ nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Chessher; mother Alma Chessher, 8 siblings: Mary Chessher, John Chessher, Joe Chessher, Void Chessher, Wilma Gosnell, Rhett Chessher, Maxie McClamma, and Maggie Mae Chessher, and step son Brad Briggs
She did love to fish. Her favorite story: She went into DMV one day to get her Driver license and due to her being on SSI, they asked if she would like to have her fishing and hunting license as well. Tish said “Sure I’m always hunting for a place to fish!”
She will be laid to rest with her late husband at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell FL

Norma Flores Jimenez Nicdao passed away peacefully on August 30, 2002 at Covenant Care in Pensacola, Florida. She was born in Manila, Philippines on May 30, 1937.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo Jimenez, Sr and Maria Flores, her siblings, Ernesto, Zenaida, Annabelle and Mario. She is survived by her husband, Diosdado; her children Dennis (Susan)of Manila, Philippines, Derrick (Beth) of Quezon City, Philippines, Dellan (Carmen)of San Bernardino, California, and Debbie of Milton, Fl., foster children Maria Lourdes of Pensacola, Marlon (Janet) of Pace, Fl., Arjay (Famela) of Cavite, Philippines; grandchildren, Gian, Aja, Johann, Bea, Abigail, Cathy, Danjo, Carla. Caren, Mark Jay, Mariah and great grandchild Gabviel; brother Domingo Jr. (Amelia) of Mandaluyong, Philippines; also several nieces and nephews.
She is the fourth child of the six children of Domingo & Maria. Her father was a bookkeeper of an American company while her mother was a schoolteacher. Inspired by her mother, she studied to become a teacher. After getting her teacher certificate, she went to teach at St. Joseph School at Olongapo Philippines, where she met and fell in love with Diosdado. They got married in August 1961. They were blessed with 3 sons & a daughter. Later they become foster parents to Norma’s niece, Marilou & nephew, Marlon; parent-figure to a neighbor’s son Arjay. Despite having 6 children to take care of, they led a modest middle-class life in Manila. In 1977, they agreed that Diosdado take an overseas job in Guam to augment the family income. For the next 4 years, she become a father & mother to their children. When her husband came back home and the children finishing college, she likewise was able to finish her bachelor’s degree in Education & pursue a master’s degree in Special Education, specializing in speech for the deaf and mute.
In 1996, after 32 years of teaching, Norma, with her husband, migrated to USA thru a petition by her mother. They settled in Milton Florida where she worked briefly as a teacher assistant at T.R. Jackson Pre- K School. She later worked at Winn Dixie Bake Shop. In 2002, she had a major stroke which made her incapacitated to continue working. She loved gardening, cooking native Filipino dishes, doing homecraft, watching her favorite TV shows, and reading.
Her biggest joy has always been with her husband, Diosdado, her children and grandchildren.
The family would like to thank HCA Florida West Hospital and Covenant Care for taking good care of her in her remaining days.
A visitation will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Milton, Florida on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 1:00 PM followed by a funeral mass at 2:00 PM.

Cary Lee Nickol, 73 from Cincinnati, OH passed away on August 28, 2022 in Pensacola, FL. He was born September 23, 1948 to Frank and Mary Nickol.
Cary graduated from Felicity Franklin High School in 1966. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Cary was an accomplished carpenter by trade and is credited with building many homes in his lifetime.
In addition to his parents, Cary was preceded in death by a grandson, Damian Nickol. Cary is survived by his siblings Butch (Carol) Steele, Mary (Kenny) Snider, Charlotte (Leroy) Deck, Ruthi (Gerald) Owens, Frank (Susan) Nickol, and David (Rhonda) Nickol. His children, Nathan (Amanda) Nickol, Samantha Harris, Rachel (Blake) Endres. His grandchildren, Kody, Taylor, Ted Donovan, Anthony, Vincent, Moriah, Karson, Kinsley, and Kaylee. His great-grandchildren, Zelda and Katie and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 4, 2022 from 12pm-4pm at the Franklin Township Building located at 981 Hopewell Rd. Felicity, OH 45120.
