Steven Anthony Thill, 65, of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2022 surrounded by family.

​Steve was born on November 1st, 1956 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and relocated to Florida in 2016. Steve was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle.

​Steve is survived by his wife, Dorothy Thill; children Meaghan Johnson (Jared) of Jupiter, FL, Nathan Thill (Srey) of West Palm Beach, FL, Julian Thill and Faye Thill of Pensacola, FL, sister Susan Thill-Riskey-Burns (Russ) of Beloit, WI: many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by mother, JoAnn (urban) Thill of Beloit, WI; his father, Ralph Thill of Beloit, WI and his brother, James A. Thill (Darla) of Janesville, WI.

​After a short battle with cancer, James “Jamie” M. Garner passed away at 6:36 PM, Monday, 19 Sept, 2022, at Pensacola, FL. All of Jamie’s family was gathered around his bedside to comfort him as he made his final life’s transition. 

Jamie leaves behind his daughter Savanna N. Garner, his mother, Lynette M. Rouse, his brother Christopher Garner of Crestview FL and his sister Tonya Barnett of Athens AL.
Jamie was born 12 Mar. 1976 in Biloxi, MS, to his mother Lynette M. Garner and his father James O. Garner Jr., who predeceased him.
Jamie grew up in a small, but very close and loving family with one sister and brother. He attended technical college for over a year where he earned his certificate of Horticulture in 2013. After graduating, Jamie was soon employed by the city of Destin, FL where he worked for over nine years. Jamie then accepted employment working out of Port Fourchon, LA, where he was responsible for resupplying the offshore oil derricks, in the Gulf of Mexico.

Jamie, stood at 6’2” and was known as a gentle giant who, although very personable and loved by all who knew him, he preferred to remain in the shadows. However, when Jamie believed he needed to speak up, he was heard and respected by all.
Jamie was survived by his daughter Savanna Garner, as well as his sister Tonya Barnett and brother Christipher Garner and numerous nieces, nephews aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father James O. Garner, Jr.

Jamie requested to be cremated. His ashes will shared and appropriately revered by his mother, his daughter and his two siblings. A celebration of life will be conducted by Jamie’s family and closes friends at a time and place to be determined.

The family offers their thanks to all who knew and loved Jamie, but especially to his attending nurse Annie Terrington of the North West Hospital, Pensacola, FL who’s above and beyond, patient care during his last hours. We also offer our thanks to the Emeral Coast Hospice for their attentive care for Jamie while keeping the family abreast of his last hours on this earth. Finally, we also thank the Family -Funeral and Cremation of Pensacola, FL, for orchestrating the final arrangements.

Jamie, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts.

​Sandra Sue (Ludwig) McMahon passed away Sunday evening. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Emily (Krout) Ludwig, her brother Robert (Bobby), an infant daughter Mary Louise, and son Kyle.

Survived by her two sons, Tyler of Las Vegas, NV, Kirk and his wife April of Summerton, SC, her daughter, Tamara Barnes and her husband Scott of Pensacola, FL; four Grandchildren; Matheu Raickle and his wife Chelsey of Jacksonville, FL, Bryon McMahon and his wife Courtney of Frackville, PA, Emily Lomonaco and her husband Dean of Santee, SC, and Paige McMahon also of Santee, SC; two Great Granddaughters, Kasandra, and Mackenzie (pending arrival). She is also survived by her life-long friends Connie and Lou Nocella as well as Judy and Richard Weand. She will be missed by many other family members and friends.

Born June 9, 1946 in Norristown PA, Sandra grew up in the Norristown area finally settling in West Point, and calling that home through High School. She worked at Ebert Motors, where she met her eventual husband. They lived in Lansdale for the first several years, moving to southern New Jersey where she lived until 1985 working at Wildwood Linen Supply for 15 years. She relocated back to Lansdale and eventually North Wales where she worked for Structo-Fab for several years and then Merck in North Wales until retirement. Several years later, she moved to be with her daughter in Virginia Beach, and Pensacola, FL.
Sandra truly loved the beach, her grandchildren, Christmas (and all of the tinsel that ‘required’) and she thought Elvis walked on water. Crime shows and movies, as well as reading anything she could get her hands on were also passions of hers. She had a life-long love of Cross-stitch and sewing; to include all of the Easter dresses for her granddaughters, though she also made clothing for her children back when they were young.

There will be a private service in the future.

Michael Norman Hobbs, 62, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

​Dr. Michael “Mike” R. Gaddis, 63, of Cantonment, Florida passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 16, 2022. He was born October 21, 1958 in Owensboro, KY.
Mike was a loving husband, father, grandad and dog dad. He was a proud Chahta hattak, a man of many hobbies, a talented artist, guitarist, and a member of Mensa.
He is preceded in death by his father, Coy, and his mother, Betty.
He is survived by his wife Dawn; his brother James Gaddis; sister Eudora Cannon; brother Mike C. Gaddis; daughters Kristen Gaddis and Sabrina (Josh) Gerstel; son Christopher (Christina) Gaddis; eight grandchildren: Elijah, Aubryana, Makayla, Josiah and Noah Gerstel; Maria, Daniel and Charlotte Gaddis; several nieces and nephews; and his dog babies Gracie and George.

​A public memorial gathering will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at Family-Funeral & Cremation 5627 North Davis Highway. The family will receive visitors from 5-7PM and will hold a private burial at a later date. 

​Rick O'Dell Bailey, 70, of Pea Ridge, FL, died of cancer on Friday, September 16, 2022 surrounded by family in his home. Rick was born September 26, 1951, in Miami, FL, to Bernard and Alice Bailey.
 
Rick served in the U.S. Army Infantry from January 1970 to December 1977 and saw combat in Viet Nam. Following his release from service, he entered Federal Civil Service as a Paralegal for Whiting Field. He retired in 2006 but served as a volunteer Teen Court Judge until health concerns forced him to completely retire.
 
Rick is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Rapp Bailey, one daughter, Tracy (Terrence) Bennett of Valley, AL, siblings Angela Rice of Augusta, GA, Theia (Jerry) Rice of Tignall, GA, Laura (Dennis) Mauzy of Louisville, KY, and Steven Bailey of Valdosta, GA.
 
Rick was predeceased by his parents, one brother, Allen (Stephanie) Bailey, of Jacksonville, FL, and a daughter, Sarah, who died at birth.
 
Services for Rick will be held at Family Funeral and Cremation on Friday, September 23, with visitation at 10:30, service at 11:30, and burial at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1:00. Pastor Wallace Nichols of Gateway Baptist Church officiating.

​Irian Lanier McDaniels, age 80, a lifelong resident of Pensacola, passed on September 13, 2022.
 
Born in Opelika, AL to the late Gideon Ezekiel and Daisy Alice McDaniels. Mr. McDaniels leaves behind a son, Adrian; daughter, Sheila; and siblings Reagan Lavell, Nathaniel Duvantz, Rawa Kiernahn, Seleta Mone, and Connie Oneila along with numerous nieces and nephews.
 
He is preceded in death by his devoted wife of 56 years, Victoria “Vicky” Chuanyee, his siblings Marjorie Ellen, Doy Delbert, Larry O’Neal, Ronald Lewis, Gerald Leonard, Kelvey Quinn, and Quillie Gerrell.
 
Mr. McDaniels enlisted in the United States Air Force in Montgomery, AL on August 14, 1962, and served four years as a Radio Repairman. While serving in Germany, he earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon.

Edward Vicencio suddenly passed away on September 13, 2022 and went to be with God at the age of 52.
 
Survived by his loving mother Bertha Galvan and Lovingly remembered by his daughters and brother: Summer Vicencio, Perla Romero, Maylynn Jackson, and Brandon Salazar.
 
Edward Vicencio was born in Posta Rica, Veracruz, Mexico on July 27, 1970, and grew up in Pensacola, Florida. Edward was a US Government masonry. He was a member of an 7th Day Adventist Church, where he attended Tuesdays and Saturdays. He was also a fan of boxing, he loved to listen to music, going to the beach, and spending time with his family. 


A Service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 with a visitation at 3:00 PM and service at 4:00 PM at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627 N. Davis Highway, Pensacola, Florida 32503.

​Joseph Steiner Szczepanski, age 76 passed away September 12, 2022 at his home in Cantonment, Florida. Joe was born August 18, 1946 in Troy, Alabama to Edward and Kathleen Szczepanski. He was Raised in Phenix City, Alabama along with 3 brothers. Joe graduated from Phenix City Schools, with certificates of award for never being late or tardy, which family will tell you was on par for Joe. After graduation he joined the Army. Joe quickly rose in rank to Unit Supply Specialist (SP4), earning a National Defense Service Medal, and Expert Marksman. With his duty to his country complete, Joe moved to Florida where he opened multiple businesses in the Pensacola area.  Joe was a compassionate and loving soul. He loved being silly and could not stand for anyone to be mad at him for too long. He was an animal lover as well as a handyman who enjoyed tinkering. In the last few years of his life, he and his partner, Helen, enjoyed building RVs from the ground up, spending time with their well-loved pets.
Joe is preceded in death by his Parents Edward Szczepanski and Kathleen Baggett Szczepanski; beloved brother, Patrick Szczepanski; as well as two beloved pets, Mollie and Goobie.
He is survived by his soulmate and partner of 20+ years, Helen Borden; brothers, David Szczepanski and Edward Szczepanski; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends, and Hippie, whom he loved to spoil.
 
A Funeral Service will be held for Joe, Tuesday September 20, 2022 at 1:30 pm (ET) at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, Alabama. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to your local animal shelter or rescue in Joe’s name. 

George Allen Wuelling, 58, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022.
