On October 25th we lost a beautiful soul and an incredible Mom. We will miss her every single day. She was our support, our rock and steadfast friend. She never met a stranger and never had a harsh word.  If you met her you loved her immediately. She loved life. She loved to read, loved her political shows and MSNBC. She loved her iPad which she said kept her connected to the world.

She loved to text family and friends daily. She loved playing Words With Friends online, and giving treats to beloved family dogs and cats. Her positive spirit, supportive words, deep love of Jesus, and ability to love everyone where they were, caused many to want to be near her and be with her. She listened daily to the Mass on her iPad. She loved good food especially desserts and great coffee!

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 51 years Roy and her beloved daughter Michelle. She is survived by her daughters Ramona Connelly and Alice Bohannon (David) and grandchildren (who were the love of her life) Isabella Connelly and partner Matt Homer, Haley Bohannon (Theresa Yarbrough) and Jack Bohannon and his partner Charlie Tatum and great grandchildren Walt and Liza Yarbrough.

In the end she used what strength she had to say “Remember no matter what you hear in your life, ever, ever, EVER……that God is love and love is love and it is good.

We remember her joyful spirit and great gift of sharing love with all who knew her. We were blessed to have such a mother and friend.
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon you face, the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Heaven gained an angel but we surely did not want to give her up. Godspeed Mom. We love you!!
