![]() Wesley Lamar Fulcher, Sr., 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on December 31, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Wesley Fulcher; mother, Jessie May Fulcher; brother, Gilbert Fulcher and sister, Elouise Collins. He is survived by his wife, Erlinda Fulcher; sister, Mildred Green; his 9 children in his blended family, Johnnie (Lathern) Gant, Karen (David) Foremen, Wesley Lamar Fulcher, Jr., Joe (Petra) Wesley Fulcher, Olivia Lynn Shipley, Daniel Lee Fulcher, Barry Shannon (Teresa) Fulcher, John Theodore (Chrystal Quebedeax) Harmon II and Heather (Earl Wood) Harmon; 24 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives. Lamar was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on August 29, 1970. He loved Jehovah and the congregation. He pioneered for many years until his health limited his activity, but he always maintained the pioneer spirit. Despite his limitations, he never lost his zeal and determination to do God’s will. He remained faithful to Jehovah to the very end. Lamar loved all of Jehovah’s beautiful creation. He enjoyed spending time at the beach, viewing the sunset, taking care of his garden, and fishing. He took care of household repairs when he could and when physical limitations prevented that, he was able to impart his vast knowledge to others who could then carry out those tasks. He never stopped taking care of the needs of his family even when he was unable to physically do it himself. Lamar was known for his loving and caring hospitality, often opening his home to those in need. He was a loyal husband, always putting his wife’s needs before his own and he loved his children dearly. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and taking them on walks with his wheelchair through the neighborhood. Lamar will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. ![]() Our beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, Gretchen Gail Cecil (Gretchen Ackerly) of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away on December 29, 2019, at the age of 57 after a courageous battle against cancer. Gretchen was given the gift of life and she fought hard, very hard, to keep it. Gretchen was born in Montclair, New Jersey to Albert and Barbara Ackerly and lived with her family in several states before moving to Cornwall, New York in 1975. Gretchen graduated from high school in 1981 and earned her BA in Restaurant and Hotel Management from Saint Leo University in 1985. Gretchen married David Cecil in 1995, and they settled in Florida to raise their children. Gretchen was passionate and caring person. She was especially passionate about her family, the beach, boating, fast cars, and helping sick children. Her personality was a true force of nature, she was captivating. Within minutes of meeting Gretchen, she would pull you in and make you her friend. Gretchen was preceded in death by her father, Albert Ackerly. She is survived by her husband, David Cecil; her children, Megan McConchie, Ashley Cecil and Benjamin Cecil; her mother, Barbara (Ackerly) Donnelly; brothers, Jeff Ackerly, Bruce Ackerly, Eric Ackerly and Pete Ackerly; her sister, Barbara Ann Volk and countless friends, colleagues, and members of the AA community. ![]() Rhoda, of Pensacola, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019. She was retired from Monsanto after many years of service. She was a consistent big supporter of car racing and a founding member of Liberty Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Tutchtone; daughter, Jennifer Tutchtone and grandson, Jeffrey Payne. Survivors include children, Stephen Anderson, Melissa Payne, and Bill Tutchtone II; granddaughters, Amanda Patrick (Alex) and Ashley Copeland; great granddaughter, Laney Patrick; great grandson, Nolan Patrick and many loving brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 with visitation from 11:00-12:00 pm, service at 12:00 pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Rd., Pensacola, FL 32504. Interment will follow the service at Barrancas National Cemetery. Officiating will be Wayne Butts and Pallbearers, Russell Brooks, Cecil Dykes, Wes Paul, Logan Boyett, Billy Peavy and Nicholas Rogers. ![]() Rachel “Sis” Elizabeth Crews Treusch went home to be with our lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 28, 2019. She was born November 8, 1929 in Lauderdale County, Ripley, Tennessee to the late George A. & Rachel Ellen Crews. She was one of 7 children. She is survived by a son, Steve Baker (Rita); daughter, Pam Schrage (Joe); four grandchildren, Mark Baker, Jr. (Morgan), Michael Baker (Maegan), Jennifer Schrage and John Schrage and two great- grandchildren, Tristan and Kaylee Baker; sister, Bobbie (Raney) Webb and brother, George "G.A." (Shirley) Crews. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Pace United Methodist Church and an active member of Council on Aging in Pace, FL. She loved each one of her family members and anyone that got know her was truly blessed by her friendship. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 with visitation from 3:00-4:00pm and service at 4:00pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida 32504 with Pastor James Stickle officiating.
