![]() Harold Eugene Hall, 93, of Pensacola, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Harold was born to Lawrence and Edith Hall on August 23, 1924 in Williamsfield, Ohio. He was raised by his aunt Abbey Overmoyer on the farm in Williamsfield, Ohio after the early passing of his mother. PFC Hall served in the United States Army until 1945 when he was injured by shrapnel and received a Purple Heart. He also received an European Middle Eastern Theater Medal. He worked as a transport driver for Kroger in Ohio before moving to Pensacola 48 years ago. After moving to Pensacola, he was the owner and operator of the Cougar Bar for 37 years. Harold enjoyed fishing, throwing darts, senior softball, bowling and having fish fries, barbeques and crawfish boils for his family and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Edith Cullum Hall; daughter, Gene Lincoln; sisters, Phyllis Antolic and Juanita Gilliland and brothers, Charles Hall and Roland Hall. He is survived by his sister, Evelyn Johnson of Sharpsburg, Georgia; sons, Daniel Hall and Ralph Hall, both of Cleveland, Ohio; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Harold was truly beloved by many. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am til 12:00 pm with services following at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola. |
