Horst “Paul” Klemptner, II, 35, succumbed to injuries from a motorcycle accident in Crawford, AL on May 31st, 2018.
Paul was a man with a big heart, a fun sense of humor, and an infectious smile. He is best remembered for his animated way of telling a story and the way he could make you laugh. While everyone who knew him knows he was not perfect, he led his life with a sense of freedom and was always ready to help someone in need. He was a loving father to two beautiful boys and a loving son and brother. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Norbert Klempter and maternal grandparents, James Miller, Jr., Lally Miller and Mary Miller. He is survived by his father, Horst Paul Klemptner, Sr., of San Antonio, TX; mother, Susan Miller, of Dothan, AL; sons, Trey Paul Klemptner and Tristan Wayne Klemptner of Dothan, AL; sisters, Mary Heather Klemptner Parkinson of Enterprise, AL, Keri Nicole Klemptner, Mara Singletary and Emily Burslie, all of Dothan, AL, and Kimberly Klemptner of Branson, MO; uncles James Henry "Hank" Miller of Dothan, AL, Norbert Klemptner of Nebraska, Eric Klemptner & Dereck (Nichole) Klemptner of Sulpher Springs, TX and mother of his children and love of his life, Stacey Hayes Smith of Dothan, AL and his paternal grandmother, Martha Klempter. The family will receive guests in a celebration of his life on Sunday, June 10th beginning at 3:00 pm at Windmill Station, 1369 Headland Ave, Dothan, AL 36303. |
