Irene Mae Michalski of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully on September 13, 2019.

​She was born in Toronto, Canada to Samuel and Joyce Foster and moved to Florida when she was 14 years old. Irene married Ronald Michalski in 1958.  
 
Irene was a devoted wife for 61 years of which 21 years was as a Navy Wife.
 
Irene enjoyed playing Bingo, reading historical novels, doing crossword puzzles, arts and crafts, making homemade candies, going to the casino and trying her luck at video poker.
 
She is survived by her loving husband Ronald; daughters, Cheryl Brown (Timothy), Debra Hickey (Donnie); son, Steven Michalski; grandchildren, Kevin Michalski, Kristen Ruleau, Katrina Ruleau and Samantha Brown; sisters, Lynn Phinney (Norman) and Jane Janney; brother,  Michael Foster, and many nieces and nephews.

​A Committal Service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 9:30am at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, Florida 32508.  The procession will meet at Olive Baptist Church-Warrington Campus, 103 West Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola, Florida 32506 at 9:00am.
