James Cuthbert Galloway, 78, of Cantonment, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

It is with great sadness that the Galloway family shares the death of our precious husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, after an extended illness.
 
James Cuthbert Galloway was born on April 28, 1941, and died December 3, 2019.  He was an avid hunter of deer and turkey, and truly loved nature and being in the woods. His greatest love was his family.
 
PaPa is survived by his wife of 55 years, Terri; daughter, Michele (Gabe) Shaver; son, Curtis James; grandson, James (Holly) Reynolds; great-grandson, Colton James; great-granddaughter, Claire Elizabeth; grandson, William (Hanna) Reynolds; great-grandson, William Fisher; soon to be born, great-granddaughter, Lilah Rae; sister, Carol Lambert and brother, Tim (Tracy) Galloway, as well as many other beloved family.
 
We appreciate greatly all the loving support and prayers we have received these last few weeks. It is heartening to realize how much PaPa was loved and respected by his family and friends. Our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the nurses and support staff of Covenant Care Hospice. 
 
We find comfort and hope in God's Word, for as it is written: "And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, 'Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.  He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.'"       Revelation 21:3-4  
 
A memorial will be held to celebrate PaPa's life at a future date to be determined.
