![]() James Randolph Wolcott, III fell asleep in death on July 7, 2018 at 90 years old. He was born April 7, 1928 in San Francisco, California. James (Jay) was a cadet at the US Coast Guard Academy and during the Korean War he flew anti-submarine patrols along the U.S. East Coast as lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. After leaving the Navy, Jay received a degree in Physics from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and went on to work in the aerospace industry. Jay loved the water and enjoyed sailing and scuba diving. He was also an accomplished wood-worker. His most important and satisfying accomplishments came after he learned the truth from the Bible and was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness. Jay leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Betty with whom he raised four wonderful sons: Bruce (Karin), Craig (deceased), Scott, Christopher (Jennifer) and one grand-daughter, Cayleigh (Justin). Memorial service will be held at 4:30 pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Brentwood Park Kingdom Hall, 8430 Pittman Avenue, Pensacola, Florida. |
