![]() Karen Penelope Anthony, 60, of Pensacola, Florida went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2018. Karen graduated from Tate High School in 1975. She pursued her cosmetology degree and worked as a cosmetologist for a period of time. She was married in 1982 and was blessed with two daughters and a son. She loved her children with every fiber of her being and each child loved her very deeply in return (as it is to this day). She loved to sing and was always humming a melody in her head. She was a unique and beautiful person that loved deeply and was beloved by many. One thing she always wanted to be told at the time of her passing was the plan of salvation. Today if you are unsure of your salvation, pray this prayer; Dear Jesus, I confess I am a sinner. Today I choose to follow you. I believe that Jesus died for my sins, was buried and rose again. Please forgive me of my sins. By faith I receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Help me to live for You from this day forward. In Jesus name, Amen. She is survived by her three children, Rachel Oliva, Nicholas (Victoria) Anthony, and Lena Anthony; five grandchildren, Lily Oliva, Ivy LaVoie, Drayton Anthony, Amelia Anthony and Rohen Anthony; her mother, Martha Shirey; sister, Elizabeth (Cecil) Lynn; brother, Emmett Kozel Jr.; sisters, Vickey Scott and Paula Kozel and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. We are saddened that she is no longer here with us but we have comfort knowing that she is with the Lord and we will see her again. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida. We love you Mama, Daughter, Nana, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend. |
