![]() Kenneth Irvin Bryant, 79, of Lillian, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Kenneth was born March 12, 1940 in Cairo, Georgia to Gordon and Wynelle Bryant. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Peggy; children, Kenny (Arlene) Bryant, Ronnie (Dana) Bryant, Tammy Clark, Tina (Eddy) Williams: stepsons, Adam (Kathy) Shuttlesworth and Shawn (Sabrina) Shuttlesworth; 15 grandchildren, Ben, Bailey, Brandy, Jayme, Justin, Josh, Kyle, Shannon, Crystal, Beau, Amanda, Leon, Devin, Veronica, and Raven. He was a Vietnam era veteran who retired from the Navy in October, 1986 after 28 years of service as a Master Chief E9. He was honored with several medals and accommodations during his service to his country and Ken was a true American Patriot throughout his life. After retirement, Ken and Peggy moved around the country with stops in Montana, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida. Ken enjoyed traveling, golfing, cooking and most of all spending time with his wife and family. He was a genuine, loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, without a doubt - his family always came first. We will miss him every day the rest of our lives. A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 10:30am - 12:00 pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road., Pensacola, Florida 32504. The Committal Service will be held at 1:30pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, Florida 32508, with the procession leaving at 12:30pm from Family-Funeral & Cremation. |
