![]() Kenneth Lee Thompson, 75, of Milton, Florida passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019. He was born October 3, 1943. He graduated from Milton High School, where he was in chorus and was the President of the FFA. After high school he served in the Army and Army Reserves. He then began a career at Monsanto that last 29 years. He was a life-long resident of Santa Rosa County. Kenneth was an avid hunter and fisherman, spending much of his time in the Blackwater Forest. He was also an excellent carpenter and brick mason and he took great pride in his work. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Effie (May) Thompson; a brother, Charlie Thompson; infant daughter, Patricia Carol Thompson and nephew, Robbie Thompson. Kenneth is survived by three daughters, Kim Porter-Rhodes (Jerry), Jennifer Perry (Jason) and Sara Gandy (Billy); six grandchildren, Hannah Thompson, Dakota (Cody) Perry, Conner Gandy, Katelin (Katie-Bell) Gandy, Acelyn Porter, and Willard Porter. He also leaves behind one niece, Susan Ormond and a host of friends and cousins. |
