![]() Morgan Lamarr Wood November 20, 1962-April 28, 2017 Morgan was born in Pensacola, Florida to Lewey June Wood and Ernest Lamarr Wood. He remained in Pensacola for all his 54 years. He attended Woodham High School and Pensacola Junior College where he studied Auto Paint and Body. He married Kim Sheppard and had a son, Jacob, whom his world revolved around. He was a loving son and loyal and trusted friend to many and most importantly, a dedicated, loving and proud father. He was a kind and generous person that would do anything in his power to help others in need even at great sacrifice to himself. He loved cars and studied auto paint and body to repair and make them beautiful once again. He worked alongside many men as a supervisor performing location and drop services but was never afraid to get in and get his hands dirty with the people he supervised. He was an earnest listener when he was needed. He was always there to talk with you about the most intimate subjects and offer advice or just lend a shoulder to cry on. He was a man that you could count on. He touched many lives for the better during his time on earth. His loss is felt by many and there is a definitive hole in the hearts of those left behind. He loved talking about the times he spent with his grandma Morgan and remembering the kind and gracious person she was. He was also the care-giver, along with his son Jacob, for his mother, June, during her lengthy illness who he loved very much, remembering the sacrifices she endured for him. He leaves behind the love of his life, his son, Jacob, who he absolutely adored and a very special Aunt Connie, many aunts and uncles of the Morgan family. His family has chosen to have his body cremated and his remains will be held until arrangements and time are determined to honor him. Remember his smile and the twinkle in his eye and know that you are a better person to have had the honor of knowing him. |
