Rose Esther Murphy, 84 of Pace, Florida passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021
Rose Esther Hatke Murphy was born June 22,1936 to Florence and Bernard Hatke. Rose graduated from Jefferson High School.  Rose worked for years in the K-Mart cafeteria here in Lafayette.  She also sewed dresses and costumes for the Choir Students of Jefferson High School. Recently Rose worked in the Santa Rosa Schools as a cafeteria worker. She married Harry Murphy and later divorced. Rose has three children,  Patrick ( Kimila) Murphy of Lafayette,  Cynthia (Tony) McGrath of Mobile,  Alabama, and Russell (Maureen) Murphy of Brownsburg, Indiana. Rose has the following surviving siblings, Richard Hatke (Ruth), Louise Wortman, and Birdella Kesling. Rose is predeceased by sister Velma McGlothlin, and brother Bernard Hatke. Rose is also survived by her companion David Heckert. Rose is survived by the following Grandchildren: Nathaniel Murphy (Mindy), Justin Murphy (Alexandra), Candace Glover (Cody), Micah Murphy, Aaron Murphy, Kaitlynn Sebald (Joseph) James (Lindsey) Murphy, Hannah DeleGardelle, Joshua McGrath, Rebeca McGrath. Rose is survived by the following Great grandchildren: Kylee, Madilynn, and Christopher Murphy, of West Lafayette, Josiah, Tobias, and Arianna Murphy of Hermiston Oregon,  Hudson, Wyatt, Adeline, and Liam Glover of Otterbein Indiana, William and Eleanor Murphy of Lafayette,  Ruby Sebald of West Lafayette.  Leia Murphy of Northville, Michigan. Boaz  DeleGardelle of South Bend. Indiana.  Rose had one predeceased great granddaughter Charlotte Rose Murphy.
