Tony William Hurley passed away on February 8, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles William Hurley Sr., his step-father Dale D. Webb, Sister-in law, Marcia Hurley and Grandparents. Tony was born in Pensacola, FL. and graduated from High School in Grand Island NE. After graduating, Tony joined the Air Force, where he served for 7 1/2 years which he was Honorably Discharged where he participated in Desert Storm/Shield. While serving his country, Sergeant Tony W. Hurley earned the AF Good Conduct Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, which is earned by displaying superb professionalism, dedication, commitment to Excellence, the NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, AF Overseas Service Long Tour Ribbon, AF Longevity Service Award and AF Training Ribbon. He earned these Medals for his superior distinctive performances. Tony was employed at the Purple Parrot Condo Resort where he was the Maintenance Supervisor which he considered his 2nd home and family, all whom he loved very much. Tony enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, watching football and NASCAR, but most of all was spending time with family and friends. Tony is survived by his mother, Dorothy Webb, sister Donna Morris (Wayne), brothers Terry (Sherry) Hurley, Gary Hurley, Charles (Jodi) Hurley Jr., and Darin (Maria) Webb, his nieces and nephews, Nick, Alyssa, Sarah, Charles III, Lena, Troy, Richard, Tonya, Donnie, Micki, and Casey a host of Great-nieces and nephews, his girlfriend Renea Roach and her son Tracy, Jana, Sarah, Casey and best friends Jason and Mike. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at 10 AM with the service following at 11AM at Family-Funeral & Cremation. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery with Military Honors by the United States Air Force. |
