Obituary of Carol Ann Burger-Weinman

Carol Ann Burger-Weinman of Laurel Hill, Florida, went to be with the Lord Friday, February 23rd, 2024 at the age of 65 after a long fight with illness, surrounded in love by her family.

Born in Oneida, New York, she was the daughter of Harley and Patricia (Smith) Burger.

Carol was a 1977 graduate of Vestal High School and earned her Associate's Degree from Alfred State College in 1979. She was a software programmer at Databranch in Olean, NY until she became a homemaker due to illness.

In Carol's youth, she enjoyed putting on plays with her sisters and cousins, playing instruments, and singing. She had a tenderness for the many family pets and loved nature. Summers at camp with her family were full of adventures. She loved the water and became a Scuba diver, exploring much of Florida and the Keys.

Carol was a fierce woman of God who delighted in studying His word and having fellowship with others. She was a regular bible study attendant, church volunteer, and prayer warrior. She loved her community and was “Momma Weinman” to half the neighborhood no matter where she lived. Her “mission” was always in the community around her. She loved gardening and her many craft groups with friends.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia Burger; sisters, Anne Abdul-Jalil, Barbra Burger, Dave Burger, Harley Burger, and Nancy Sousa; cousin, Martha Manz and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jenna and Ryan Seebeck; son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Fallon Weinman; three grandchildren, Ashton Seebeck, Liam Seebeck, and Nigil Weinman.

She is preceded in death by her father, Harley Burger.
